The left-handed guard may just be the best playmaker of an amazing group of 2027 guards. Barnes is great getting his teammates involved while also making sure to hold up his end of the scoring. His quick burst helps him get to the basket with ease where he excels finishing through contact. A steadily improving shooter, Nasir is in for an exciting junior season where York William Penn hopes to avenge a loss in the York-Adams League championship.

Bender is a quick, skilled guard who will be the primary ball handler for Mifflin County. He is extremely shifty with the ball and often makes the right play. His tight handle helps to create separation when shooting it from deep. Luke has lots of finesse when getting to the basket, using a multitude of finishes. It will be fun to watch Bender lead the Huskies after a good summer with Next Level Strong.

Dolimpio is going to light the Mid-Penn Commonwealth up this year, finally entering upperclassman status after a solid sophomore season. Not only does he shoot the 3-ball at an impressive clip, but Jared is just as good attacking downhill, often finishing with a ferocious dunk over top of multiple defenders. His athleticism is always on display on both sides of the floor. Dolimpio has proven to hit clutch shots when called upon. With a near complete game as a junior, the sky is the limit for the skilled guard, who will continue to be relied upon more frequently.

Muhlenberg returns multiple key players from a team that reached the District 3 playoff, none as crucial to their success as Hemmings. The two-way player has game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he can play on or off the ball. He looks to get others involved just as much as he looks to score himself, where he can get it going from all three levels. On the defensive end, he's willing to switch onto multiple positions and is always fighting for a rebound. With a continually improving inside game and added strength, Hemmings looks to take a big leap heading into his junior year.

The talented guard out of Red Lion is poised for a supreme junior year after averaging just under 20 points per game as a sophomore. Ogurcak has great command of an offense, leaning on his speed and fundamentals. He has proven to be a superb shooter from the perimeter and is equally good playing off two feet inside the paint. Isaiah does it all for the Lions at a consistent rate. Already with an offer from Pitt-Johnstown, expect more PSAC offers to come in for Ogurcak after this year.

After spending his first two years at Trinity, Portee Jr. will spend the next two at Bishop McDevitt, where he should have the ball in his hands a lot. He is a very shifty guard who can score from all three levels. Kenyon is extremely crafty finishing at the basket. He also has a great back-to-the-basket game, where he can either rip quick to the rim or turn around into a smooth jumper. It will be fun to see Portee as a more polished player with a program who trusts him to handle the ball.

Already holding a Division I offer (Bucknell), Shakur will continue to be a highly coveted college prospect. The athletic guard is a pest on defense, using his wingspan and quick hands to rack up steals and push the ball in transition. He has an excellent change of pace as he often leaves defenders in the dust. Perhaps even more impressive is his footwork, as he always makes the right play inside the paint, with a great sense of playing off two feet. With a high IQ and very solid fundamentals, it will be fun to see Starling with the ball more as Central Dauphin begins a new era of basketball.

With the graduation of lead guard Owen Schlager and their other guards headed to school elsewhere, Steele becomes the primary ball handler for a Trinity team that will still have high expectations. Andre is a skilled guard that should still relish in search of another District 3 3A championship. He is a great on-ball defender who racks up steals with ease. His offensive game is solid and continuing to grow, where he thrives getting paint touches and making the right play.

After playing up with [program_tooltip program_id='2428018' first='Sideline' last='Cancer'] 17u this past AAU season, Trn is in line for a great year at The Hill School. You can tell Cole is the son of a distinguished coach by his IQ and understanding of the game, as his mother has been the head women's coach at Shippensburg University for 27 years. Trn is both confident and consistent on a nightly basis. He can finish with both hands and is a knockdown shooter. He's going to continue to turn heads this season.

Ya'Majesty was in the midst of an excellent summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2428018' first='Sideline' last='Cancer'] when it came to an abrupt pause due to a torn meniscus. Instead of heading for college after this season with Warwick, he plans on taking a prep year to make up for lost time from the injury. Washington is electric with the ball in his hands. He has a great feel for getting downhill, either finishing at the rim or with a floater. The skilled guard has a great pull-up jumper and continues to improve on his catch-and-shoot game. Once fully healthy and with an expanded range, Ya'Majesty is going to make noise across the state.
