About Isaiah
Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Like how he can operate out of the half-court. He is very effective turning the corner and using the two man game and has good chemistry with his big men. Like how he can push the ball going coast to coast. Like how he can play with different places throughout the game. Has acrobatic touch around the bucket. Showed he can score the ball from three. Has an eye to be a playmaker whenever he has the rock in his hands. Should see a ton of attention from small colleges throughout the state.

The talented guard out of Red Lion is poised for a supreme junior year after averaging just under 20 points per game as a sophomore. Ogurcak has great command of an offense, leaning on his speed and fundamentals. He has proven to be a superb shooter from the perimeter and is equally good playing off two feet inside the paint. Isaiah does it all for the Lions at a consistent rate. Already with an offer from Pitt-Johnstown, expect more PSAC offers to come in for Ogurcak after this year.

One of the most feared three-level scorers in Pennsylvania’ Class of 2027 will impress college coaches at the Philly Spring Clash with his efficiency. Ogurcak is a high IQ prospect who does not take ill-advised shots and there is little wasted movement to his game. He is a high-percentage three-point shooter who drained 62 threes this past season. Ogurcak’s logo distance range and ability to shoot jumpers off the dribble make him extraordinarily difficult to guard on the perimeter. His mid-range game is extremely polished too. Ogurcak’s crafty dribble moves can get him into the paint for lay-ins or runners off the glass., Ogurcak has also been known to attack the painted area, come to a jump stop and then score or distribute off two feet. As a bonus, Ogurcak is an automatic free throw shooter.

The highlight of his first high school season came when he posted 18 points (3 threes) during Red Lion’s upset of eventual 6A state champion Central York. Ogurcak is a long-distance sniper with a quick release and NBA range. He excels at coming off pin downs as well as baseline screens for open looks.
