Central Dauphin returns the bulk of its production from last year’s state championship team, but one notable change will be DeVan slotting into the starting five after seeing limited minutes off the bench a year ago. Part of a high-octane backcourt attack, he showed nice plug-and-play utility while consistently finding ways to fit in and impact the game efficiently. DeVan showed poise as a secondary ballhandler with the ability to make some reads as a pick-and-roll playmaker. His quickness in the open floor also fits right in with a Rams lineup that loves to get out in transition. He may never be asked to carry a heavy scoring load but DeVan’s efficient contributions should help him find a spot at the next level by season’s end.
