Lownes is a high-upside forward who is just beginning to scratch the surface of his potential. His rangy frame immediately stands out, allowing him to impact the game as a rim protector while also covering plenty of ground on the glass. He consistently used his length to block shots, alter attempts around the basket, and secure rebounds on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Lownes showed encouraging flashes, displaying touch around the rim and the tools to expand his game as he continues to develop. Adding strength to his frame will be a key part of his progression, as it will help him finish through contact and handle more physical matchups. With his length, athletic tools, and long-term upside, Lownes is a prospect whose best basketball is clearly still ahead of him.
