Conference Commentary

Title Contenders: Washburn, Roosevelt, South, North

Can Washburn make it three straight? They lost their top two scorers from last year but have players ready to step into those roles plus depth pieces. I would say they have enough to be considered preseason number one in the league but they will have contenders in Roosevelt, South and North. North returns Sanders and then three guys who were role players, South has four starters returning and Roosevelt has two starters back but one of them is [player_tooltip player_id='1560875' first='Calvin' last='Peterson'] who is likely the Preseason Minneapolis City Conference Player of the Year,

Compete with Most: Camden, Southwest

Camden is stacked with young talent at the moment mixed with a few veterans. How quickly that young talent adapts to playing older and experienced players in this league is impossible to know but there is a lot of promise in their program right now. Southwest has two key players back from last year but lost four of their top six. They will compete and execute but there are holes to fill from a 10-16 team.

Rebuilding: Edison

Edison lost all league games last season and their record hit 4-21 overall. They return an all league player but there is going to be more building needed to get out of last place in this league
