The Challenge took place over the weekend in York, Pa as over 120 high schools programs (boys' varsity, junior varsity and girls' varsity) made their way to the Expo Center to compete as they prepare for their upcoming season. An endless list of prospects made their case as stock risers with their production, so there's a chance this article can be broken down into multiple parts. For now, we'll look at the 2026 prospects who took advantage of the stage.

Leonard led York Suburban to an impressive 4-0 showing this weekend and proved why his name should be firmly on the radar of DII and DIII programs. The 6-foot-3 combo guard does it all for his team and when I say that, I mean he fills every valuable statistic on the box score. His impact was felt on both ends as Leonard is quick from the point of attack, can expose driving lanes in a flash, and does an nice job of maintaining body control while airborne to finish through contact.

For further context on his box score stuffing, Leonard averaged 12.7 points, eight rebounds, four stocks (steals + blocks) and three assists per game.

To be frank, when Farrington is playing to his potential he fits the mold as a LM+/MM- prospect. In his showing against Catonsville that resulted in a lob-sided win, it was his production from start to finish that not only established a firm grasp on the game from the early going, but also helped maintain control throughout. His three-level scoring ability was on full display as was his high-motor that comes in the form of rebounds in bulk. He finished this one with 18 points on efficient shooting numbers, but Farrington's most impressive outing was his 27-point outburst against Dulaney on Saturday.

Farrington brings feel and instincts on the block, touch on his jumper all the way out to three, and will often times surprise you with his vision as a playmaker off the dribble.

He has a a few DII programs with heavy interest and has heard from a couple DI programs in the recent weeks.

South County made the trip north with ill intentions and their opponents felt every bit of it as they left York with a perfect 4-0 record. Anderson was the straw that stirred the drink as their primary scoring threat and he wasted no time in establishing himself as one of the better volume shot-makers in attendance. Whether he was coming off pin-downs, breaking his man down off the bounce to create space to pull the trigger, or making himself available in transition running the lanes with purpose, Anderson's weekend consisted of a lot of buckets.

He's being sought after by some highly-touted DIII programs such as Arcadia and Randolph Macon and if others were smart, they'd jump in to get involved as well.

Terry put himself onto our radars after this weekend's showing as he'll be a key piece for a potentially sneaky Hammond group. He's equipped with a scoring mentality as a wing who uses his size at 6-foot-4 to take advantage of his length in shooting over smaller defenders. He can make the defense pay for not being an arms length on the catch as he let's it fly with confidence. When Terry's shot is falling, it fuels other aspects of his game that bring value such as rebounding. As Terry steps into a big role this season, if his IQ improves with game reps, we could see his name be in demand with the local small colleges.

Another team from Virginia who left York with an unscathed 4-0 record was Massaponax, who has an interesting collection of talent headlined by their sharpshooting guard in Bowles. The 6-foot-2 guard led the event by making 17 total three's in their four games and shot it with impressive efficiency. Bowles showed his ability to shoot off movement with quick shot preparation. Even when his defender had a clean contest, Bowles' confidence never wavered and the results spoke for themselves. His compact mechanics allow him to get his shot in catch-and-shoot scenarios with quickness that'll translate to the college game right away.

He's the type of shooter that must be accounted for at all times and the gravity that he demands opens the floor for everyone around him.

Penn Charter's roster is full of talented underclassmen, which makes Fleming's presence that much more important as a senior. Still, he's new to the group after making his way from George School, but it hasn't taken long for the 6-foot-3 lead guard to provide the needed stability, execution, and leadership for head coach Brandon Williams. The Quakers had two tough opponents in Mt. Carmel and Clinton Grace. While both games resulted in close losses, Fleming's production was felt in a multitude of ways.

As a scorer he showed patience operating in ball screens where he'd force a switch and tactfully take advantage of a slower-footed big guarding him. His change-of-pace attack allowed him to create space and when he rises up from mid-range or beyond the arc, Fleming maintains good balance. He's unselfish and uses the attention he demands on the catch to make the extra pass or dribble drives to collapse the defense and then find others for clean looks.

Simply put, Barrett was in his bag this weekend. The 6-foot-8 wing is at the point in his development where the potential is turning into production as he looks to be a staple for this Archbishop Carroll team in a fairly wide open WCAC. His recent momentum has to do with his clear boost of confidence and assertiveness as a scoring threat. Barrett's always been an underrated shooter from deep especially on corner three's, but now he's lifting up to the break and the top of the key with certainty as a pick-and-pop threat.

In the open floor, no longer is Barrett allowing defenders to get off easy by avoiding body contact. He'll establish the bump himself whether it be on the way to the bucket or in the air with the body control to convert. Playing alongside Anthony Brown, it supplies Barrett with ample opportunities to attack off the catch and utilize his lengthy strides to glide to the basket.

Barrett recently received his first offer from Howard.
