-Got a chance to see a little bit of everything from the 4 man in new threads with Team HIM. Farrington uses a strong frame to serve as both a post entry and roll target, using his strength to carve out space for dump-offs or putbacks around the rim because he does his work early to make contact with opponents on the glass and hold his seal. Farrington scored on step-through extension layups in traffic, finished his short floater opportunities around the rim, and even knocked down a corner 3 off the catch. With a year of postgrad or juco seasoning, I think he could play his way into a scholarship.

Defensively, Farrington is able to play different coverages versus ball-screens and contests shots around the basket. His advanced skill on offense ranges from self-created three-pointers to making plays out of the post. But with that, he needs to be more strategic about how he attacks different matchups on that end.

To be frank, when Farrington is playing to his potential he fits the mold as a LM+/MM- prospect. In his showing against Catonsville that resulted in a lob-sided win, it was his production from start to finish that not only established a firm grasp on the game from the early going, but also helped maintain control throughout. His three-level scoring ability was on full display as was his high-motor that comes in the form of rebounds in bulk. He finished this one with 18 points on efficient shooting numbers, but Farrington’s most impressive outing was his 27-point outburst against Dulaney on Saturday.
Farrington brings feel and instincts on the block, touch on his jumper all the way out to three, and will often times surprise you with his vision as a playmaker off the dribble.
He has a a few DII programs with heavy interest and has heard from a couple DI programs in the recent weeks.

After showing flashes as a sophomore, Farrington proved to be the state’s most skilled offensive player as a junior. The 6’6 forward became the Buc’s go-to scorer, who could go to work on the block with traditional post moves or face-up and take defenders off the dribble. On top of developing his touch from deep, he also grew as a leader on the floor. When his offense wasn’t there versus Milford’s tougher opponents, Farrington turned up his effort on the glass and on defense.
