Fall leagues and preseason showcases across New Jersey have been in full swing since last month. Throughout September and early October, a mix of rising talents and established prospects have delivered standout performances that have caught plenty of attention. After attending several events over the past couple of months, here's a look at some 2029 prospects who have made strong impressions during fall ball so far.    One of the standout performers at MADE Hoops' Northeast Preview earlier this month [player_tooltip player_id='2884567' first='Dominic' last='Mauro'] proved to be a confident, sharpshooting spot up threat with the versatility to contribute as a ball handler. Mauro consistently found ways to impact the game as both a scorer and a playmaker. He knocked down multiple open looks from beyond the arc, showcasing his lethal catch and shoot ability. Mauro also displayed poise and control as a secondary ball handler, effectively initiating the offense and making smart and decisive reads both in transition and in half court sets.     A standout performer across multiple different showings so far this fall, [player_tooltip player_id='2884517' first='Dallas' last='Baldwin'] has demonstrated a natural ability to be a quick and confident ball handler with a tight handle that can impact the game as a dependable decision maker. Using his strong court vision and quick burst, Baldwin effectively got into the paint to create scoring opportunities for teammates, while also displaying a knack for crafty finishes at the rim when attacking off the dribble. A consistent standout performer at Hoop Group's Fall HS League on Monday's so far this fall, [player_tooltip player_id='2633990' first='Clint' last='Martin'] has proven to be a young guard with legitimate ball skills, consistently rising to the occasion with smooth and confident all around performances. He's displayed impressive poise under pressure, effectively handling the ball against defensive intensity while also showing his ability to attack off the dribble and finish through contact at the rim, with both hands. Martin's also shown flashes of his perimeter shooting ability, particularly off the catch.     A consistent standout performer at the NJ Legacy Tuesday Fall League, [player_tooltip player_id='2969733' first='Tysean' last='Scott']'s athleticism is almost always on full display, evident in his ability to finish above the rim in transition and his explosive first step when attacking off the dribble. He's produced several highlight worthy plays on both ends of the floor, showcasing his impact as a two way player. Scott has also flashed his perimeter shooting touch, knocking down shots from three point range to complement his dynamic slashing ability.     Another bright spot in the backcourt for Paterson Charter so far this fall, [player_tooltip player_id='2964306' first='Jacob' last='Wilder']'s excelled as both a confident floor general and a reliable scoring option. He effectively orchestrates the offense, getting teammates involved and maintaining control of the game's tempo. In addition to his playmaking, Wilder has showcased his scoring versatility—knocking down mid range jumpers, connecting from beyond the three point arc, and finishing creatively around the rim, despite being undersized. McLean is a strong, physically built guard with standout athleticism, as he consistently showcased his ability to put pressure on the rim. His explosiveness was evident on aggressive drives attacking closeouts, on the offensive glass, and in transition, where he converted on several above the rim finishes. McLean also displayed flashes of his perimeter shooting ability, knocking down shots off the catch to complement his powerful slashing game.     Dylan Brunson is a young but confident two guard that's impressed with how seamlessly he fits into Rutgers Prep's offensive system. Playing with poise and assurance, Brunson has showcased his ability to be a consistent perimeter threat, confidently knocking down open shots from three point territory— stringing together moments of being a threat as spot up shooter and flashing his ability to be an effective movement shooter as well. He's also flashed his finishing ability, converting opportunities both in transition and on straight line drives in the half court.     One of the handful of New Jersey standouts at The Challenge earlier this month in York, PA, [player_tooltip player_id='2508723' first='Michael' last='Postell Jr'] showcased an intriguing blend of positional size and legit ball skills, playing with a clear attacking mindset. Consistently getting into the paint, he displayed his ability to get downhill off the dribble and finish around the rim with impressive touch and length, utilizing a variety of floaters and crafty layups. Postell Jr. also converted several strong finishes in traffic in transition, further highlighting his aggressiveness and versatility as a scorer.
