This past Saturday, I spent my entire afternoon and night at Dana Barros Basketball Club in Stoughton, MA, taking in the talent from the Hoop Group Jam Fest. There was tons of talent present, and as always it was impossible to watch every kid from every high school division.

Ciampa has always been ridiculously skilled and smart. He plays at his own pace and is super under control in the paint, where he can shoot the floater/jumper, get all the way to the rim, or spray out to shooters. This weekend, though, Ciampa looked stronger than before and was able to handle on ball pressure better than I've seen him in the past. His size is going to limit his recruitment, but he can absolutely play at the D3 level and will run an offense quite smoothly. He should have a big senior season at Xaverian.

Brown Jr. isn't too well known around New England simply because he doesn't go to a big time prep or public school. However, the 5-foot-10 guard can play with anyone. He's an absolute menace on the defensive end; he has incredibly active hands and is both physical and disciplined when sliding his feet. Offensively, he has a tight handle and is able to get to wherever he wants on the floor as a result. He also has a beautiful pull up jumper. Brown Jr. should have another huge year at Holbrook this season, and D3 coaches should certainly keep an eye on him.

Waterman plays for a RI Rivals team that didn't have too much success getting into the lane on Saturday, but the 5-foot-10 guard did a really good job attacking the paint and making plays for his teammates once he got there. He's super quick and handles the ball well, and he has good passing instincts and vision, which allows him to find lots of cutters and dunker spot hangers near the hoop.. Waterman will have trouble getting minutes for a super talented MacDuffie team this year, but I could still imagine him finding a D3 fit when the time comes.

Brogna has a superpower that's quite difficult to stop – the elevation and accuracy on his three point shot. The senior is only 5-foot-11, but he does an amazing job getting above the defense for jumpers from both the mid range and the perimeter. He shoots at the top of his jump and gets very high off the ground, so he's able to get a decent look off whenever he wants. Size will certainly limit Brogna's chance of playing D3 hoops, but a great year at Sanborn Regional High School would definitely help him in that regard.

Gaizauskas is a do-it-all forward who adds value in a variety of different ways on the basketball court. The 6-foot-4 wing plays really hard on both ends and can guard tons of different players – quick guards and plodding bigs alike – as a result of both his strength/size and lateral quickness. Offensively, he can shoot it a bit from three but also handles it well enough to get into the lane, which is where he really excels as a passer and decision maker. I could see the Chapel Hill Chauncey senior being a solid piece to their team next year and potentially finding a D3 fit when the time comes.
