This Saturday, I spent my entire afternoon and night at Dana Barros Basketball Club in Stoughton, MA, taking in the talent from the Hoop Group Jam Fest. There was tons of talent present, and as always it was impossible to watch every kid from every high school division.

Blackburn was maybe the most electric above the rim athlete I saw over the entire weekend. The 6-foot-6 wing probably dunked the ball 10 times in one of the Saturday games I watched him play; whether it was off one or two feet, with one or both hands, or with a windmill flare, the junior absolutely lit up the gym with his athleticism. He has some solid dribble moves to get into the paint, and then his finishing is quite impressive as a result of his hops. He should be one of Worcester Academy's best players this season and should look to improve his IQ, passing, and shooting ability with more on-ball reps.

Clement is a tantalizing prospect who's difficult to keep your eyes off of when you enter the gym. The 6-foot-8 forward is skinny but INCREDIBLY long, and he has an interesting skillset for his size and body type. He's able to handle and pass it well for his position, and he uses his length and size to impact tons of shots on the defensive end. His positioning and IQ are there already, and when he begins to put on weight and get stronger, he could be really dangerous. Scholarship schools should be keeping an eye on Clement, who should play a significant role for St. Marks this season and could look a lot different next year.

Ste. Marie is a really solid forward who can play the game in a variety of ways. If you want to dump the ball into him on the block and let him go to work, he can use his footwork and finishing ability with both hands to score the basketball. If you want to play a 5-out offense, the 6-foot-5 junior can space the floor with his shooting stroke but can also make plays in the paint for himself and others. He makes great reads passing the basketball and is incredibly cerebral. Ste. Marie should be one of Manchester Essex's best players this season, and D3 schools will be interested soon enough.

Owusu-Aduomi is the exact kind of guy who you want at the wing position. The 6-foot-5 wing is incredibly strong and can do whatever you want on either end. Offensively, he can score from all three levels but can also be a connective passer and cutter; he had some really nice closeout drives into the lane and is super crafty and athletic at the rim. Defensively, his size, strength and effort allows him to guard a variety of players one through five. Owusu-Aduomi is part of a revamped Tilton squad and should be a very key player for them this year. Once he gets a better feel for the game, he'll be on the radar of scholarship coaches.

Fadia is a fascinating prospect because of his combination of size, length and agility. The 6-foot-6 forward has incredibly long arms and uses them quite effectively as a rim protector. He has good timing and instincts, but also the discipline and lateral quickness necessary to hang with guards on perimeter. He was sliding hit feet and contesting guards, wings and bigs alike; one of them was [player_tooltip player_id='2341366' first='Sage' last='Baptiste'], a senior forward who will be getting scholarship looks. Fadia has a bright future ahead but needs to refine his offensive skillset.
