At 6'3 he already has impressive positional size, and his arms extend even further than that height allowing him to finish over size while also picking up a ton of deflections defensively. He helped lead his team to a pair of wins over Salam and Kenosha ITA, draining threes off the dribble, finishing above the rim in transition, and setting up his teammates out of pick &amp; rolls. This is a young point guard who plays with impressive poise and change of pace at his age, able to effortlessly maneuver his way off screens and through defenders to get to his spots. Taylor can zip in passes from the perimeter to cutting teammates, or get two feet in the paint before dumping it off to one of his bigs. He has the confidence in himself, his coaches have confidence in him, and he has the shooting stroke from three to put points on the board in a hurry. At 6'4 he impresses with his ability to create space off the dribble, and with that size he's able to get shots off over smaller guards. When attacking the basket he's shown the ability to finish with either hand from a variety of angels. He has a big frame at 6'8, and does a nice job of creating angles for easy entry passes from his guards. Missed a few bunnies in the game I watched, but overall he showed soft touch around the basket as well as the strength to play through contact. He keeps things simple, and it allows him to produce at such an efficient level. Jack never looks sped up on the ball, and does a great job of using his body to wiggle into gaps and pin defenders on his hip as he extends to finish at the rim. Against Germantown defenders just couldn't keep him out of the paint, and he finished at a high percentage with either hand, including an explosive dunk off the drive. He's the perfect floor stretching option for this team, as he's a pure shooter who's going to help open up driving lanes for his team's slashers. Sag off of him and he'll make you pay by putting three points on the board, but close out too hard and he can get into his one/two dribble pull-up from mid-range. With a long and lanky frame at 6'3, he can guard almost every spot on the floor at the high school level. He can get up in passing lanes on the wing, block shots at the rim, and move his feet with smaller guards on the perimeter. So good at jumping a pass and quickly turning defense into offense with a transition finish.
