15 C/O '26 Guards in Central PA to watch this winter

These are the 15 class of 2026 guards to keep an eye on in Central Pennsylvania this winter, in alphabetical order.    After an improved junior year with Trinity, Brown will spend his senior season at Harrisburg High School. He is a microwave scorer with a polished jumper. Aside from his dynamic scoring ability, Brown can impact a ball game with his energy and athleticism. Reece will do his part to bring his winning ways with him to Harrisburg.     It will be intriguing to watch RBJ this year as he takes the reins of a Central York team that has been winning throughout his career. Although they fell to eventual state runner-up Roman Catholic last year, Central York won the 6A state championship the season before. The statistical leaders of that team are now gone and it will be up to Ryan to lead the Panthers back to prominence. The combo guard can score and facilitate with the best guards in Central PA.     Cooper is extremely aggressive in his pursuit of getting to the basket and uses his athleticism to finish over top of defenders. His aggression remains persistent on the defensive end, where he is good at sliding his feet and getting a hand on the ball. Alijah will handle the rock a majority of the time during his senior year at CD East.     Denisco is excellent at stepping into his shot and letting it go from the perimeter, where he shoots it at a high clip. Patrick is very efficient and knows when to shoot it or facilitate. With a sound floater game, Denisco keeps the defense guessing on his every move.     No matter the gym or location, Drabenstadt immediately becomes the best shooter in any building he walks into. He can shoot it from deep with the best of them and continues to expand his range. Lucas has also worked on his handle in the off-season to add to his offensive game.     George is a skilled combo guard and 3-level scorer. With the ball in his hands, Kingston can create for both himself and his teammates with ease. He is equally good off-the-ball, where he moves to open spots and can knock down catch-and-shoot jumpers. In what should be a good year for MHS, it will be interesting to see how often George handles the ball.     After winning the District 3 4A championship a season ago, McKoy led a talented Berks Catholic team all the way to the state championship, where they fell to Devon Prep. The Colgate commit will look to lead his team back to the big game in hopes of a golden state medal. McKoy is a pesky defender who finds his way into passing lanes and can score in a flash in transition. Expect a third all-state selection for Kingston in his senior year.     After a brilliant career at Central York where he is now the all-time scoring leader, Natal will spend a prep year at The Hill School. He excels creating off-the-dribble, getting downhill, and finishing through contact. His athleticism is remarkable for the point guard position. While he currently holds multiple DI offers, a post-grad year will help to further complete his game, as the PIAA state champ should garner more offers throughout the year.     After an off-season of improvement, O'Brien is going to see the floor more than he has in his career so far, as Cumberland Valley graduates key starters including their primary ball handler. If his AAU season with Central PA Elite is any indication, CV won't miss a beat with Patrick on the floor. He excels shooting it from the perimeter and attacking the basket.     The York College (PA) commit had an excellent summer with Central PA Elite and was named to the MADE Hoops All-Challenger Second Team. Rose has great command of an offense in the half-court, always makes the right pass, and is constantly moving off-the-ball. He is one of the premier 3-point shooters in the Mid-Penn who can also knock down pull-up jumpers at a consistent rate.     The lead guard for Susquehanna Township, Slappy propelled the Indians to the second round in both the District 3 4A and state playoffs. Mekhi is a 3-point specialist who often draws defenders outside the perimeter because of his deep range. He can create off-the-bounce and continues to improve as a playmaker.     Sucheski is a swiss army knife of a guard who can do a little bit of everything. He has a smooth jumper and can knock them down off-the-dribble or catch. His knack for paint touches and playing off two feet creates easy looks for his teammates around him. Kyle is also a scrappy defender who is not afraid to guard your best player.     A 3-level scorer with a smooth mid-range game, Sweeney was the guy for Hershey en route to a District 3 5A championship and an appearance in the state final, falling to Neumann-Goretti in front of a home crowd. Cameron continued his dominance on the court, helping his [program_tooltip program_id='2428018' first='Sideline' last='Cancer'] squad reach the championship on the MADE Hoops Circuit. Expect another deep playoff run for Hershey, led by the dynamic combo guard.     Turner is a very intriguing prospect who seems to get better after every game he plays. He shines on both sides of the ball and seems to be everywhere on the floor. Khalif will pick up his man full-court and pester him from start to finish. His offensive game is raw but ever-improving. He has a quick burst attacking the basket and a smooth jump shot.     Yenser is a solid ball handler who has great command over an offense in the half-court. He shoots the ball at a high clip from the perimeter and continues to expand his range. His work ethic will be on display during his senior season as the lead guard at Boiling Springs.
