Woeser had a phenomenal performance in a tight win over a loaded Team 6, carrying his team and taking over down the stretch. He was a stock riser this summer and that looks like it will roll over into his senior season. He is super skilled and has a great ability to play at different speeds. He converted on some tough finishes inside, always maintaining control on drives and layups with either hand. Jenpa is a true three-level threat, as he was effective in the mid-range and from three-point range.

King put on a show this afternoon, putting his athleticism on full display. The 6'7” forward was throwing down dunks in the open floor and in traffic, asserting his dominance in the paint. He can hold down the inside defensively, with his size, strength, and mobility. James also showed flashes of creating in transition, as he is unstoppable when he gets a full head of steam.

AJ looks ready to make a difference at Totino-Grace this season, playing really well on and off the ball. His jump shot continues to improve, as he was efficient on catch-and-shoot looks from three. He looked great pushing the pace in transition, having a great handle and vision for his size. Taban is one of the most well rounded players in the state, being a game changer with his scoring, facilitating, rebounding, and defending.

Tommy really impressed me on Sunday with just how much stronger and more athletic he looked. The 6'6” junior was attacking the basket with aggression, using his strong frame to finish through multiple defenders at a time. He was a beast rebounding the ball, coming away with contested boards all day. Schabert is also a high effort defender, being capable of guarding a variety of positions.

Jameson was another prospect in this matchup coming off of a great summer season on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The 6'7” junior used his size and length to be a difference maker inside, as he is a hard worker on the boards and played solid defense on a couple of elite forward prospects. Offensively, the lefty can work with his back to the basket, as McCarthy came up with several big time scores down the stretch of a close win.

Mikey is one of the top pure shooters in his class and that was very evident on Sunday. He is an ultra-confident player who will let it fly from deep when given any open space. Teammate guards were looking to kick out to him often, as he shot well on looks off the catch, getting shots off quickly. McKenzie was also successful on pull-up jumpers off the dribble.

I saw a little bit of Lawrren this summer, but he really caught my eye on Sunday. He was one of the best shooters I saw at the entire event, as he was automatic from beyond the arc, off the catch or off the dribble. He did not force much with the ball in his hands, as he is an unselfish player who was also setting up his teammates for success. Ongeri also brought a lot of effort on the defensive end.

Omar has the potential to be a lead scoring option at Mounds Park Academy and many of those skills were on full display. He is a very confident player, who thrives in one-on-one scenarios where he can go get a bucket. He has a very smooth shot and was able to create separation on the perimeter for open shots. Said has a deep bag of moves he can go to, along with his tight handle and long 6'3” frame.

Jordan was a player I was personally not familiar with headed into the event, but he impressed in 5v5 action. He was a great piece to compliment all the talent on his team, playing really well off the ball and on defense. He is a knockdown shooter, connecting on catch-and-shoot looks. He was confident when creating for himself, being able to take a defender off the dribble and attack. Bailey came away with some steals which led to easy transition scores.

Reed did a lot of the dirty work for his team, making winning plays all game. He has a strong 6'3” frame, being able to play physically against opponents. He had some powerful drives to the rim, being very capable of finishing through contact. Johnson is a tough competitor, as he came away with contested rebounds and a couple of steals on defense as well.
