Jameson turned in an excellent weekend with Gain Elite , looking like he is in store for a breakout 17U season. He is a very versatile wing prospect, playing both physically in the paint and showing skill out on the perimeter at a high level. He is capable of going to work with his back to the basket and was a monster on the boards, coming away with tons of contested rebounds. McCarthy can also put the ball on the floor to create for himself and moves very well for his size.

Jameson was another prospect in this matchup coming off of a great summer season on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The 6’7” junior used his size and length to be a difference maker inside, as he is a hard worker on the boards and played solid defense on a couple of elite forward prospects. Offensively, the lefty can work with his back to the basket, as McCarthy came up with several big time scores down the stretch of a close win.

Jameson turned in a fantastic weekend for Minnesota Gold, being a key piece of their run to the 16U semifinals. He has a long 6’7” frame, which he used to dominate on the boards. The 2027 forward came away with contested rebounds on both ends of the floor, as he cashed in on many second chance baskets. McCarthy is also great with his back to the basket, taking full advantage of a smaller defender being matched up with him.
