About Woeser
Expert Analysis
Jack Pfeiffer | Prep Hoops Scout
Woeser, another unsigned 2026 prospect with Hoop Habits TLC, looked dominant, scoring in a variety of ways. He was taking advantage of the defense leaving him any space, knocking down several catch-and-shoot threes. The senior guard is very smooth and plays at his own pace, maintaining control on tough finishes inside. Jenpa is a very skilled player and could be a nice pickup for a collegiate program.

Woeser is coming off a productive 17u season, and will now look to step into a bigger role for Prior Lake as a senior. This is a 6’3 wing with impressive shooting touch out on the perimeter, with the confidence to match. When left open he has no hesitation letting it fly, and he’s one of those players who can catch fire and knock down a handful of shots within a couple of minutes when he gets going. He showcased that scoring ability during the 3v3 game of his I watched.

Woeser had a phenomenal performance in a tight win over a loaded Team 6, carrying his team and taking over down the stretch. He was a stock riser this summer and that looks like it will roll over into his senior season. He is super skilled and has a great ability to play at different speeds. He converted on some tough finishes inside, always maintaining control on drives and layups with either hand. Jenpa is a true three-level threat, as he was effective in the mid-range and from three-point range.

Woeser has been an electric scoring option for Powerhouse all season, doing more of the same this past weekend. He brings great energy and effort when he is on the floor, as he is always giving his team the momentum. He is a confident scorer from all three levels, being able to create separation off the dribble and attack the basket strong. Jenpa is also a hard nosed defender that loves to apply pressure.

In Jenpa’s Saturday afternoon game that I was watching, the 6’3″ forward ripped the nets from the opening tip to the final buzzer. This consistent scoring is an asset that not many prospects have. Many players can score short bursts, but Jenpa’s ability to be a shot-maker throughout the whole game separates him. Jenpa has very fluid mechanics in his jumper and always makes the right play. Jenpa keeps the game simple and doesn’t force anything, his buckets look effortless.

Woeser had an excellent weekend running with Powerhouse, taking over during stretches of both games I watched. He is a knockdown shooter from the perimeter, being a threat from well beyond the three-point arc. He plays at his own pace and was great at working himself inside for a finish that is under control. Jenpa was an all-around scoring weapon all weekend, and helped his team to a 3-1 record.

Woeser checked into the game and immediately made an impact for D1 Minnesota Gold . Within just a couple of minutes, Woeser sprinted the floor for a transition bucket, knocked down a three pointer, and then cut hard off the ball leading to an easy finish inside. He provided an extra scoring spark for his team, able to create his own shots when needed, while also working hard off the ball, constantly moving and cutting. Shooter with some size at around 6’3-6’4.

Jenpa and his D1 Minnesota Gold team took control against WI Playmakers early in their Friday night game. A lot of this was because of Jenpa. Within the first five minutes of the game, Jenpa had four 3’s, making up 12 of his team’s first 15 points. The hot shooting created a 10-point lead for D1 Minnesota Gold , and it didn’t stop there. Jenpa added a few tipped passes on defense that led to fastbreaks, and he was willing to make the extra pass for a wide-open look despite being the one with the hot hand. His entire team was feeding off his scoring, leading his squad to a blowout. D1 MN Gold dominated with a score of 80-36.

Jenpa was letting it fly from deep to help lead D1 Minnesota Gold to a win on Sunday morning. The Prior Lake guard adds some additional length to the wing, and is a lights out shooter when given too much space. I was impressed with how quickly he could get squared up off the move, allowing him to catch and shoot in one fluid motion. Really helped to spread the floor for his team and provide an additional scoring punch.
