Scott Heady - UIndy Elite Camp Top Guard Performers:

Elite Camps are used throughout the country as recruiting tools to get prospects on campus. 80+ prospects from all around the Midwest took the court on Sunday at the Scott Heady – UIndy Basketball Camp is taking place at Nicoson Arena on the campus of the University of Indianapolis. Here are the top performers from the guard position at camp.    My first time seeing [player_tooltip player_id='2141040' first='Brody' last='Baker'] out of Harrison, and he was as good as advertised. Smooth guard that's able to play either guard spot was aggressive while playing with a high IQ and not forcing the issue. Excellent three-point shooter with deep range and picture perfect release. Was able to get all the way downhill where he used his physical frame to absorb contact and finish over length. High IQ defender that moved his feet well on the ball and rebounded out of his area.     Shifty lead guard that was impressive to watch in transition. One of the quicker players with the ball, [player_tooltip player_id='1561114' first='Brandon' last='Addison'] was switching ends turning defense to offense and getting in the lane not only to score, but made some impressive passes through difficult windows. Was able to get in the lane without over-dribbling. Really good in the pick and roll game with playing under control and just making the simple play.     My first time seeing the 6'3” Whiteland Product and I was really impressed with his offensive game. Smooth guard that scores in a variety of different ways. Was able to create off the bounce for himself and either rise up in the midrange or get all the way to the rim. Had an impressive scoring streak where he showed his full arsenal on four straight trips. Was unselfish and showed impressive court vision and a high IQ. He defended really well off the ball and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time for rebounds.     Uber athletic guard that was showing off the bounce from the start of the event. Explosive athlete with the ball in his hands. He was able to get downhill and finish in a variety of different ways with either hand. In transition he was turning defense into offense and threw down some impressive dunks show off his athleticism for a smaller guard. Once he saw the ball go through the bucket the rest of his offense game got going and there was no stopping him.     Ultra smooth guard out of Kentucky caught my eye early on with his demeanor and confidence that he played with on the court. High IQ guard that balanced scoring and distributing really well. Confident shooter with a smooth stroke from three. He was able to get it off even when heavily guarded. Wasn't the quickest or most athletic player at camp but played with a high motor and defended well all camp long.     The Shenandoah Product was doing what he does. [player_tooltip player_id='2541107' first='Aiden' last='Coffey'] is a bucket and that's what he was getting. Crafty handle that helps him get to his spot and has the ability to rise up in the midrange. If the defense backed up, he showcases his three-point shooting where he is elite. He was one of the better scoring guards at camp.     Shifty combo guard that was getting downhill all camp long. Quick first step for the guard out of Arsenal Tech and had explosion in his takeoff when he got to the basket and was a crafty finisher with either hand. Did a really good job pushing the tempo with the advance pass to open teammates. Is a capable three-point shooter with a nice stroke but was primarily drive-first.
