is a bucket and that’s what he was getting. Crafty handle that helps him get to his spot and has the ability to rise up in the midrange. If the defense backed up, he showcases his three-point shooting where he is elite. He was one of the better scoring guards at camp.

From a statistical perspective, few shooters in the state of Indiana bring back the level of production that this 5’11” guard saw as a junior. Coffey led Shenandoah High School in scoring at 15.4 points per game while connecting on 80-182 (44.0%) of his three-point shot attempts. His ability to stretch the floor and put constant pressure on the defense well beyond the perimeter is true game-changer. Some small college programs have shown initial interest in Coffey and should continue to garner more interest throughout his senior season.

is one of the best shooters in the state. He’s an electric scorer that does his a lot of his damage off the ball. He’s really good at getting himself open by change of pace and knowing how to cut off of a screen. When he gets the ball m, he’s dynamic as a one on one player. Quick first step helps him get the defense off balance and showed he is a capable scorer from all three levels. Elite three point shooter with a quick release, good elevation, and deep range. Once he elects to drive it, he has the ability to stop on a dime and hit tough contested shots in the midrange. For his size, getting all the way to the rim can be difficult, but he’s crafty with his finishing package and scores it well over bigger defenders.

Indy Heat Red 17u might have only had five players on Friday evening, but it didn’t keep them from finding a way to win. Coffey was a big part of that as the 5’11” guard from Shenandoah High School poured in 25 points to go with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. He is known as a dead-eye three-point shooter, and Coffey did plenty of shot-making on Friday night, but he also impressed as a primary ball handler and playmaker.
