This year 120+ of the state's best Class of 2028 prospects came to receive updated evaluations from our scouting department. We were incredibly happy with the level of talent in attendance for this great event. Let's dive on in and take a look at our evaluations of the prospects that made up Team 3 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Mastin played an important role in Beech Grove's backcourt as a freshman and that early experience will pay dividends for him down the road. The 5'10" point guard had his quickness and ball handling ability on full display at Sunday's Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. He consistently got into the paint, made good decisions when he got to advantageous positions, and really was the offensive catalyst for Team 3 throughout the event. Based on what we saw on Sunday it appears that Mastin is ready to take on an even bigger role in Beech Grove's backcourt this winter as a sophomore.

This 5'9" point guard from Pike High School is part of a loaded talent pool coming from the Red Devils' program right now. He proved himself on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp as someone with serious potential down the road in Pike's backcourt. Glasco is very quick and shifty with the ball in his hands, showed the ability to push the pace in transition, and was a sound decision-maker both in the half court and when leading the fast break. He was enough of a shooting threat to keep defenders honest on the perimeter, but really shined as a downhill playmaker.

Despite being just 5'5", Coleman was unafraid driving it in "amongst the trees" and playing against size inside. He was able to win some one-on-one battles off of the bounce on the perimeter and then made good passes from a live dribble as he attacked the paint. As he physically develops and gets bigger it will help him as a finisher at the end of some of those drives. The Mishawaka High School product also proved to be a pesky on-ball defender for Team 3 throughout the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

A smooth, left-handed guard from Mooresville HIgh School, Elliott showed off his perimeter shooting ability in 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. More than just making shots, Elliott displayed good footwork and always had his hands and feet ready while spacing the floor. The 5'7" guard was also effective providing some secondary playmaking for Team 3. His ability to operate both on and off of the ball helps to make him even more valuable as a backcourt piece.

There is so much talent coming through the program at Silver Creek High School right now that it can be hard to identify all of the prospects. That is especially true for some of the younger guys who are obviously playing behind a plethora of future college players. However, that is exactly what makes the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp so important. Stewart came in and made a name for himself on Sunday as a two-way guard that drove it hard offensively and was disruptive defensively. He has quick feet and solid athleticism on the perimeter which allows him to attack the paint and finish at the end of his drives.

Johnson is a long, athletic wing that had success in transition at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The 6'1" Purdue Polytechnic prospect was able to run the sidelines and play off of the throw aheads in transition utilizing his open floor quickness and athleticism. There was a burst of explosiveness when he would elevate to finish. Defensively he was disruptive in the passing lanes and did a good job of using his length to switch across multiple positions effectively. He has a chance to be an impact player down the road for Purdue Poly.

Alvey attended our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase a year ago and now we got to his growth and development at the Sophomore ID Camp on Sunday. The 6'0" left-handed guard from Center Grove High School has a strong, athletic build on the perimeter. He is at his best playing away from the ball as a spot-up shooter. Alvey moves well off of screening action, has good footwork, and is always ready to catch-and-shoot. Whether it was in 3-on-3 or 5-on-5 play, Alvey consistently found ways to be involved in what Team 3 was doing offensively. It was good to see the improvements he has made in the last year.

A talented 6'2" guard from Greensburg High School, Buening is a good perimeter shooting threat with solid positional size and athleticism. In 3-on-3 action he consistently made plays when the ball came to him and then he helped to space the floor in 5-on-5 action due to his catch-and-shoot prowess. Buening also looks very comfortable with the ball in his hands. He can attack closeouts, drive it in a straight line from the perimeter, operate in transition, and make on-target passes from a live dribble. It was a good showing for him at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Unfortunately, Clark's time at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp was short lived due to a minor injury. However, we wanted to go ahead and shout him out as one of the highest ranked players to attend Sunday's event. We are excited to see Clark play a big role for what should be a very good Hamilton Southeastern High School team this coming season.

Team 3 didn't have much traditional size, so they had to rely on the length and athleticism of guys like Watkins to battle opposing big men. The 6'2" wing from Lawrence Central High School proved himself capable of going up against some bigger guys while also having the athleticism to guard out on the perimeter. That defensively versatility will be a valuable tool of his going forward. On the offensive end he was dangerous in transition, as a cutter, and as a straight line driver. His two-way versatility, fueled by impressive athleticism, really stood out at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.
