A lefty sniper from Mooresville. I caught Indiana Elite 16U’s team play in the early afternoon contest on Saturday and Elliott shot it well. Most of his work is done off of catch and shoot opportunities but he can go off the dribble smoothly into his shot as well. The undersized 2 man rang in 4 3’s at a high clip to help keep team in the game throughout. He establishes his feet and hands ready before the catch in rhythm and has fundamental footwork into his shot. A combo guard that will draw defenses out beyond the perimeter consistently.

Jameson is a lethal shooter at the point guard position and one of the best spot-up shooters I watched all weekend. He consistently made defenses pay whenever they lost track of him on the perimeter. Beyond his shooting, Jameson displayed a high basketball IQ, taking care of the ball and making the right reads to set up his teammates. His toughness also stood out, as he was constantly diving on the floor for loose balls and even stepped in to take a charge. Jameson is a two-way guard who shoots it at a high level while doing all of the little things that help teams win.

Jameson Elliott Jameson Elliott 5'7" | PG Mooresville | 2028 IN is a savvy left handed sophomore guard from Mooresville that handled the pressure that Southport threw at him and dissected the Cardinals defense dishing out eight assists. Not the quickest or most athletic player, but always seemed to get to his spots. Really good shooter off the catch that hit big time shots for the Pioneers while they were mounting their comeback.

A smooth, left-handed guard from Mooresville HIgh School, Elliott showed off his perimeter shooting ability in 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. More than just making shots, Elliott displayed good footwork and always had his hands and feet ready while spacing the floor. The 5’7″ guard was also effective providing some secondary playmaking for Team 3. His ability to operate both on and off of the ball helps to make him even more valuable as a backcourt piece.
