[player_tooltip player_id='2628239' first='Yu' last='Lyu'], 6'8 PF Hudson Catholic

Lyu is the biggest stock-riser in the 2028 rankings update as he moved up 17 spots. The 6'8 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor from the perimeter and finishes well around the basket. Lyu has a nice touch around the basket and has a high release on his jumper. He influences shots around the rim and is an underrated rebounder. Lyu is a skilled forward prospect who should put his full game on display this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504896' first='William' last='Brunson'], 6'5 SF Rutgers Prep

Brunson jumped into the top five with an 11-point jump in the rankings. The 6'5 wing explodes off the floor for dunks and can finish through contact around the rim. Brunson uses his size to see over his defender and can also score in the mid-range. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and pushes the pace well in transition. Brunson's versatility makes him one of the most intriguing prospects in the class and should put it on display throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2788641' first='Gavin' last='Roach'], 6'4 CG/PG West Side

Roach also moved up 11 spots in the update and has the potential to move up even further this season. The 6'4 guard has a good first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes well around the basket. Roach can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He is an underrated passer and has the size to defend multiple positions on the floor. Roach has the ability to put up points in bunches and should put that on display during the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504891' first='Sean' last='Forbes'], 5'10 PG Bergen Catholic

Forbes jumped up nine spots in the update and should get more touches on the offensive end. The 5'10 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. Forbes is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure and slides his feet on the defensive end. Forbes is a talented guard prospect who should make plays with the ball in his hands throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2527263' first='Archie' last='Mueller'], 6'2 SG/CG Oratory Prep

Mueller went up seven spots in the update as he showed his ability to play on and off the ball this summer. The 6'2 guard has a clean release on his jumper as he wastes little motion and can knock down triples in bunches. Mueller is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and can find his open teammates in the half court. He gets deflections on the defensive end and sets his feet before he shoots. Mueller has the potential to breakout this season as he should get more touches on the offensive end.
