Lyu has the ability to play either forward spot, which he should put on display this winter. The 6’8 forward has a high release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Lyu moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He is an underrated rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Lyu’s ability to stretch the floor along with his ability to finish around the rim is something that makes him an intriguing prospect to track this winter.
