Stepping into what is expected to be a larger role and having looked comfortable doing so throughout the course of the fall, Sean Forbes Sean Forbes 5'10" | PG Bergen Catholic | 2028 State NJ will look to demonstrate an ability to thrive as an additional strong and dependable ball handler while also being an additional source of steady offense. Whether he’s seen initiating the offense and setting the table for teammates, or scoring within the flow of Bergen’s system, particularly as an outside shot maker or crafty finisher around the rim, Forbes will look to showcase he’s a trustworthy point guard capable of taking on a greater offensive responsibility in Bergen Catholic’s rotation this season.

Forbes is a floor general who makes his mark with his ability to touch the game in a variety of different facets. He can get a bucket in the blink of an eye. Forbes also shows that he can get others involved with his playmaking. Forbes should see an increased role this upcoming season and should start to see an uptick in his recruitment.

A strong and confident ball handler, Sean Forbes Sean Forbes 5'10" | PG Bergen Catholic | 2028 State NJ showcased his ability to get in the paint and make the right read— creating plays both for himself and his teammates. Forbes consistently touched the paint and either finished with craftiness around the basket or found open bigs in the dunker spot and sprayed the ball out to open shooters out on the perimeter. Demonstrating his ability to often times make the right decision, Forbes displayed his ability to be a reliable floor general in Bergen Catholic’s offense.

Stepping into what is expected to be a larger role for this year’s Bergen Catholic squad, Sean Forbes Sean Forbes 5'10" | PG Bergen Catholic | 2028 State NJ demonstrated his ability to be an additional strong and reliable ball handler and another source of dependable offense. Whether it initiating offense or and setting the table at times for the offense or scoring within the flow of Bergen’s offense, Forbes proved to be a guard capable of shouldering more offensive responsibility as we head into the second scholastic live period next weekend.

Forbes received an offer from Fairfield after strong showings this weekend and could rack in a few more throughout the rest of the summer.

Handling most of the primary ball handler responsibilities for Bergen Catholic’s offense on the day, Sean Forbes Sean Forbes 5'10" | PG Bergen Catholic | 2028 State NJ showed good poise and composure against opposing ball pressure. Forbes excelled at getting in the paint and finishing around the rim through contact and with craftiness around the basket. Forbes also showed flashes of his shot making ability, knocking down a couple mid range pull ups. Defensively, Forbes pressured the ball the length of the court and demonstrated good defensive instincts and anticipation.
