is a forward who’s inside outside game should provide an interesting layer to Bergen Catholic’s offense this season. A seamless offensive fit who excels at scoring within the flow of the offense, Quinn is more than capable of being a force on the inside catching and finishing dump offs out the dunker spot, fighting on the offensive glass, and even backing down defenders in the low post and converting on hook shots and turnaround floaters. Quinn’s just as effective out on the perimeter as well, knocking down catch and shoot threes and attacking closeouts off the bounce.

thrived at scoring off the ball in the flow of Bergen Catholic’s offense. Displaying his ability to be seamless fit next to anybody he shares the court with, Quinn was extremely effective knocking down outside shots from three point distance and attacking closeouts and getting to the rim.

If Mojica wasn’t the best player at Holy Cross camp, it was probably Quinn. The 6-foot-9 big man completely manhandled opposing forwards in the post and literally put them under the rim on numerous occasions — he consistently backed them down and then hit hook shots and turnaround shots with both hands. However, the rising junior is also able to step out on the perimeter and his the three ball, which is very intriguing. He’s good in the dribble hand off game, he’s good in the post, and he’s good as a spot up shooter. He should be a D1 guy for sure.

Quinn is a developing big worth monitoring more and seeing how he develops. Standing around a solid 6-9, Quinn is one that when you first look at him, you automatically think is one that plays the forward position; strong, physical frame, and good size. But watching him more, the intrigue with his game is how comfortable he can be from all levels, displaying athleticism off the bounce, operating around the basket and on the glass, and showing a perimeter game as well. Quinn gives you those flashes and wow moments that could make him a very intriguing prospect down the road.

The east coast big was playing for one of Team Griffin Academy’s squad, and the upside was obvious. Has the skillset to play along the perimeter, while also having the size and emerging athleticism to be an interior player. On Saturday afternoon he got it going with smooth catch and shoot triples. Then flashed his possibly underrated ability to put it on the deck to attack closes out and open lanes. Was impressed with the recovery he made on a drive after the ball was knocked loose. Quinn quickly gathered it back up and still scored. The offensive skillset to play at the next level, and a high level, is clearly there.
On defense there were promising moments, including the burst he showed in a chasedown block attempt. Continuing to add to those moments on the defensive end will be crucial as his recruitment likely heats up. Because given his size and skillset, college coaches will likely ask “who can he guard” as their nitpick/concern. And especially with college basketball getting older, the quicker a player can lock in defensively, the quicker offers and eventual playing time will come.

Quinn flashed on the offensive end showing he could stretch defenses with his perimeter shot-making. He was very active on the glass and always found ways to fight for rebounds. He did a good job of playing hard and competed on both ends of the floor. He continues to get better with experience.
