What stood out to me most about Hamilton on Sunday was simply how hard he played. There were maybe 3-to-4 other players who matched his effort and intensity on both ends and each of those players stood out among the rest. Add the fact that Hamilton is a 6-foot-6 Swiss army knife and poses as a scoring threat from all three levels on the floor and it resulted in impact performances for his squad. His athleticism shined bright in the open floor where he finished above the rim with authority. He constantly switched defensively and did so with competence and that competitive edge that he brought spread throughout those he shared the court with. Hamilton is just scratching the surface of who can become.
