[player_tooltip player_id='2344521' first='Micah' last='Gordon'], 6'0 Plainfield

Gordon is the top ranked prospect from the rankings update and should showcase it throughout the season. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. Gordon has a good release on his jumper and can shoot either off the catch or bounce. He finds his open teammates in the half court and gets deflections on the defensive end. Gordon is a talented guard prospect who is looking to lead Plainfield to back-to-back Group 4 titles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201947' first='Anthony' last='Gonzalez'], 6'1 Seton Hall Prep

Gonzalez is one of the shiftier guard prospects in the class and will be putting it on display this season. The 6'1 guard uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and has a nice touch in the mid-range. Gonzalez rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and threads passes to his teammates in the half court. He can also play off the ball and makes plays on the defensive end. Gonzalez is a playmaker on the ball and should fill up the boxscore this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1454276' first='Blake' last='Hargrove'], 6'0 Hun

Hargrove had a strong summer season and is looking to bring it over into the winter. The 6'0 guard shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc and can shoot either off the catch or bounce. Hargrove is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the lane off the bounce and can finish through contact. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Hargrove has the ability to put up points in bunches, which will help his stock throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202014' first='Rey' last='Weinseimer'], 6'1 Manasquan

Weinseimer helped Manasquan take home their second state title in three years and is looking to add another one this season. The 6'1 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Weinseimer can also get into the paint off the bounce and plays with confidence on the ball. He is a tough on-ball defender and can find his open teammates in the half court. Weinseimer torched the nets from distance during the UAA circuit and should do more of the same during the winter season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344520' first='Noah' last='Johnson'], 6'0 Pennington

Johnson has been a steady presence in the back court for Pennington and that should continue this season. The 6'0 guard plays with good court vision as he threads passes to his open teammates in the half court and pushes the pace well in transition. Johnson knows how to finish around the basket and can also make opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He uses his quick hands to get steals on defense and can also play off the ball. Johnson is a true point guard prospect who should run the offense efficiently throughout the course of the season.
