‘s weekend at MADE’s NYC Clash highlighted a more in depth glimpse in the development of diversifying his overall floor game. Picking his spots off the bounce and scoring from different levels on the floor, Redler showcased an expanded scoring approach— navigating PnR actions to get to smooth mid range pull ups, pushing the tempo in transition for crafty layups at the rim all while reaffirming his reputation as a dead eye perimeter shooter, knocking down open looks with efficiency and long range accuracy as both a spot up and movement shooter.

Redler was the best shooter I saw yesterday. The 6-foot-3 guard has a beautiful stroke from the outside and can make shots on the move or off the dribble. He can get hot quickly, but he also doesn’t lose confidence if he misses a couple. As a ball-handler, the junior showcased some impressive pick and roll reads, including one play where he put the defender in jail and used a Shamgod dribble to create an easy look for himself at the rim. I’m sure the high academic D3’s will be all over Redler, but scholarship schools shouldn’t be thrown off by his size—he can really shoot the rock and play on the offensive end.

has brought high level perimeter shooting, particularly off the catch to this 16U group. Behind multiple 20+ point performances this spring thus far, Redler has showcased his ability to be a lethal shot maker from three point range. Redler possesses a strong feel for the game as well, not only hunting his shot on offense but knowing when to attack off the dribble and get to his mid range or get to the basket. As we move into May, look for Redler to build upon his strong scoring performances and see his stock continue to rise.

, who averaged 22.2 PPG for the Millers. Throughout the course of the season, Redler was super effective in the way he was not only able to shoot it from the perimeter off catch and off the dribble but in the ways he was also able to manipulate defenses coming off pin downs and screens. Redler was not only able to shoot it just as effectively off movement but also get to his mid range pull up when defenses ran him off the line.
