2026 Rankings: 8 Risers in the Top 50

Check out some of the higher risers in this update to the 2026 rankings. These kids have shown some game-changing ability and have been key guys in helping their teams succeed.    Horntvedt was a big contributor last season for Richland, averaging 22.9 points and 7.4 rebounds across all games last season. His size and athleticism allow him to play all over the floor offensively, and he's continued to show improvements with his jumper and ability to get to his spots this summer. He's picked up offers this summer from Montana, Montana State, and the University of San Francisco.     The Ballard forward is one of the more interesting prospects in his class. He has elite size at 6-foot-10, and moves with the fluidity of a wing. He can play from different spots, using his size to affect the game around the rim with rebounds, follows, and some shorter paint shots, and can work away from the hoop with some midrange jumpers, even stepping out to knock down some threes. He'll be a kid to watch who has the potential to continue rising in the rankings.     Jenkin is a big-time athlete who can finish high at the rim, and he pairs that athleticism with some dead-eye shooting from all over the floor. He is one of the better catch-and-shoot and one to two dribble pull-up shooters in his class. He has great lift when shooting off the bounce, and when he has a clean look at the hoop, odds are it will find the bottom of the net.     The Emerald Ridge point guard is a complete player who has made huge strides offensively and has become a legit shooter from 3-point range. He puts in work on the defensive end to lead the effort on that side of the floor, but he's also a true point guard who can run an offense, create off the dribble, lead them through pressure, and come up in big moments.     One of the biggest risers over the summer, Cummings has the size and outside shooting to be a big contributor in any lineup. He's shown over his high school career that he has a pure outside stroke, but now with his added size, he can also be a key rim defender, and use that size to get down closer to the hoop and use his touch from different areas on the floor.     Bierlink is a sharpshooting guard who can put up points. He's a kid who can be a catalyst offensively and has continued to develop with his aggression downhill, situational scoring, and ability to put an offense in motion under pressure. He's in line for a huge senior season to complete a highly successful high school career.     Sprangers is a versatile wing whose size and strength help him be a factor in multiple areas. He can shoot the three at a good rate, is athletic enough to attack off the dribble and make plays in the paint, and can defend multiple positions. He's also a plus rebounder for his position and can affect the game in a lot of little ways.     He's a super athletic forward who does a great job attacking the ball around the rim in several ways. He can follow shots on the offensive end, run the floor and finish chances on the break, and can defend the rim on the other end. He's a high-flyer who plays with good energy and a hunger around the rim that highlights his athleticism.
