A kid with a lot of simple, yet great qualities that bring some versatility in key areas to the floor. Was huge on the glass, getting position, going up for contested rebounds, and showcasing some legit strength to battle with bigs for possessions. Also did well defensively to contest and even block some jumpers.

A very good outside shooter, Sprangers has also been a factor on the glass this spring on both ends. Has good strength to compete on the interior and has been pretty efficient with shots in close. Doesn’t force shots and makes good, quick decisions with the ball.

Sprangers is a big body out on the perimeter who has a soft touch from distance and works well closer in to use that frame and work for short-range jumpers and finishes at the rim. He’s a guard who can space the floor, contributes on the glass, and has looked better attacking with the dribble to penetrate and bully shots up at the hoop.

He has a big frame and a smooth shot that could make him a real threat both from the perimeter and in near the hoop. He can already space the floor and knock down contested 3s with his height and stroke, but he’s also starting to use that size and strength to get to the rim and be a bigger factor off the bounce.

Previous Rank: 42rnSprangers is a 6-foot-5 guard with a buttery stroke and while he might lack some quickness at this point in his development, he’s no stick-figure and has the look of a kid who could develop into a big, strong guard later on. He has a good enough handle to create some looks off the dribble and his size is helpful on the glass too. He can slide over to forward at times and guard multiple positions, but his shooting is definitely his calling card at this point and it will be interesting to see how he can help Roosevelt this season.
