Southwest Indiana 2026 Under the Radar Prospects Pt. 2

With AAU season ending in July, and school back in session, that means the season is right around the corner. The limited contact period is coming up in September where coaches can work out with their players throughout the week. This article will highlight players from Southwest Indiana who are under the radar and deserve more attention.    Physical guard that looks to drive smaller defenders and punish them in the paint. Tough cover for bigger defenders because of his shooting ability. Versatile on the offensive end where you can play him anywhere on the court and he can get you a bucket. Plays at his own pace and is always under control.      Steady lead guard with a high IQ and knows how to run a team. Pressure 84 feet defensively. Quick feet and active hands creates chaos for the opposition. Offensively, he plays with his head up and at his own pace. Blow by speed and tight handle for him to get in the lane where he can finish with a floater or find open teammates.     Prior is a smooth, lengthy wing whose confidence has skyrocketed in the late part of the AAU season. Really good spot up shooter that knows how to run off screens to get open. Soft touch in the midrange and is able to rise up over defenders and score. Defensively, he's switchable into multiple positions due to his length and has the potential to be disruptive on the ball.     Crafty left-handed true lead guard that is one of the more talented passers in the area. Has the ability to read the floor and throw teammates open with precision. Has a tight handle and operates the pick and roll with patience. Defensively he gambles, but with active hands he gets deflections and turns defense to offense easily.     Skilled forward with an unorthodox inside-out game that knows how to use angles to get easier buckets for himself. Really good pick and pop threat that can knock down shots with range but also has the ability to drive closets. Strong frame where he can take contact while finishing around size. Switchable defender with his size and length and does a good job of staying vertical on drives.      Shifty smaller guard with loads of confidence on the offensive end. Three-point shot is a work in progress, but really good in pick and roll situations. Able to read defenses and stop on a dime to make plays for others or rise up with good elevation in the midrange. Really pushes the tempo in transition. Disruptive defender all over the court.     Aggressive, defensive minded guard that defends multiple positions with physicality and really pressures opposing ball handlers. Has active hands and creates offense through his defense. Offensively, he's a score first guard that continues to transition into a lead guard. Quick first step helps him get in the lane and does a good job playing off two feet.     Smooth, versatile wing that affects the game in every aspect. Really good shooter off the catch. Has a smooth stroke that he can get off quickly. Really patient in the half court as a ball handler. Doesn't force the issue and plays under control. Versatile defender at the wing spot being able to guard multiple positions with his length and athleticism. Off the defensive rebounds, I love the way he pushes the tempo and plays with his head up.
