I wasn't able to see [player_tooltip player_id='2381661' first='Brody' last='Dreeszen'] play myself, but our Tony Roe went to bat for the upcoming guard, so I will, too.

According to Roe, Dreeszen is "an electric shooter with 'in the gym' range. He shoots it really well off both the dribble and the catch, showing his picturesque form and great rotation on his shot."

Dreeszen will join one of the top programs in the state in Waukee Northwest, as the rich get richer with a high-level shooter on the way.

One of my All-Showcase team members, [player_tooltip player_id='2923523' first='Pernell' last='Grover Jr.'] immediately jumped out as one of the best scorers, let alone shooters, in Des Moines. Grover confidently launches from three, getting the shot up before his defender has a chance to deter it, and he often drills his attempts from deep.

Grover is a creator through-and-through, and whether it's for himself or others, he gets buckets for his team. One of those ways happens to is by shooting -- primarily off the dribble, or when he can step into a three off-the-catch -- and he's got the self-belief to launch at anytime.

Similar to Grover but with bigger size, [player_tooltip player_id='2894718' first='Hayden' last='Hackney'] was uber-confident in his jump shot all weekend. Able to watch him in the three-on-three portion of the day, I say Hackney launch from the mid-range and from deep with regularity, recognizing that he was hot from the field and taking every opportunity given to him.

With a long frame and a high release point, Hackney is a difficult guard for just about anyone in his age range, and if he keeps working on all facets of his game, could be one of the best players in his class going forward.

A late add to the day's events, [player_tooltip player_id='2929411' first='Brody' last='Harper'] showed up from Iowa Falls-Alden and made a quick impact for his team in the five-on-five portion of the day. Teammates with Grover, Harper became a corner three merchant, as Grover would consistently attack the paint, collapse the defense and dish it out to Harper for three. A bit of an unorthodox release, Harper could work on his mechanics, but it's a quick release that gets the job done for the time being.

Writing about [player_tooltip player_id='2919825' first='Sean' last='Sinnott'] for the third time now, it's abundantly clear that I loved his game. The comparisons to Bennett Stirtz wouldn't be made with regularity if it wasn't so easy. Sinnott doesn't get sped up, he takes what the defense gives him and appears to be in constant control. With the ball in his hands, he created for himself on the perimeter, stepping into the mid-range or side-stepping for open threes. With his ability to attack off-the-dribble, his jab step often opened up enough space for him to launch from deep, too.
