Here were the Standout Newcomer G/F's

Kiante Davis PG 5'10 2025 Desert Heights (AZ GorillAZ 17) (Pictured)

A scoring point guard who will score with mid-range jumpers, cuts off the ball and threes. He is a smart passer and plays off of the pick and roll game and will drive and kick it. He is also tough on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916091' first='Walter' last='Hennix III'] AZ Compass Prep (SE Supreme 17)

A pure PG is an extremely athletic two-way player. He has a nasty mid-range pull-up and hangs in the air differently then most players in the state. He is very quick on the ball defensively. He sees the court well with next level court vision and will drive and kick it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2849897' first='Chase' last='Duncan'] Estrella Foothills (Area Code Elite 17)

A cerebral combo guard is a good passer. He can get to the basket with a nice handle and uses his stronger frame and changes speeds well to get past his initial defender. He will be a valuable asset to the team this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916106' first='Melvin' last='Lewis'] Skyline Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 17)

A scoring lead guard can fill it up with quick drives to the basket and pull-ups from mid-range. He has a very polished mid-range jumper and he can hit the three. He moved in from out of town and played in the CAA at the end of the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916076' first='Jordan' last='Noble'] Palo Verde (Team RHJ)

A scoring guard who transferred in from Empire HS. He is a catch three point shooter and he can hit from mid-range. He is a perfect addition to one of the top 3A schools and will add an immediate scorer to the lineup.

[player_tooltip player_id='2849914' first='Keegan' last='Hamburgh'] Estrella Foothills (Area Code Elite 17)

A scoring lead guard is a three point sniper for the West Valley team. He will catch and shoot from the stripe one by one and has a stroke that looks good every time. He does not force the issue and moves the ball well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2849913' first='Jonathan' last='Tanori'] Estrella Foothills (Area Code Elite 17)

A point forward type who is very skilled. He will hit the three off the catch and get downhill. He changes speeds well and once he gets into the paint he finds teammates in stride. He has a nice handle for position and can be their backup PG in a pinch. He also moves his feet well in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='2854091' first='Jacob' last='Vielmas'] Moon Valley (AZ Legacy 17)

A strong framed wing who can play on or off the ball. He handles the ball well and he is deceptively quick. He will get downhill and is sneaky fast to get past his initial defender. He handles contact well and will score thru it or get to the line.
