Hoop Life Standout SF/PF’s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Saturday July 26th I attended the<strong>&nbsp;<em>Hoopers Only</em>&nbsp;Hoop Life Nationals&nbsp;</strong>at the Phhacility in Phx,AZ. I checked out 10 different programs from AZ and here were some of the standouts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here were the Standout SF/PF's</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2759176' first='Trevin' last='Davis'] Liberty (SE Supreme 17) </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bigger wing forward with a pure stroke from mid to the three point line. He rattled off four in a row in the second half and brought them back down 10+. He is a good rebounder and passer plus defended well in space. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2396146' first='Ethan' last='Graves'] Palo Verde (Team RHJ) (Pictured)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the longest power forwards in the building. He is very effective and efficient in the paint and is starting to face-up from the elbow and in and plus<strong> </strong>rebounds well in his area with his length and plus athleticism. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2850600' first='A'Vari' last='Piper'] Westview (AZ GorillAZ 17)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long and very fluid power forward who score it inside. He is a rare one who will spring up quickly to score on put backs, alley-oop lobs, rebounds and blocks shots. He runs better then most and is just scratching the surface.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Tony Lopez PF 6'4 2025 Estrella Foothills (AZ GorillAZ 17)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A strong two-sport athlete is tough with some skill. He will score it with the pick and roll game and has advanced post footwork to score plus he is a good passer out of the double team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2412338' first='Carter' last='Maxwell'] Eduprize (NDO 17)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A power forward who is a natural driver who has a nice handle and will score it with threes, transition buckets and put backs as he goes up quickly. He is a sneaky good passer and he looks to have a good sophomore season for Eduprize.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2574801' first='Walter' last='Onyekwelle'] Bella Vista Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 16 EYCL)&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A very fluid post player who moves well in space to defend. He can crab dribble and get to the basket to score or fall away from his defender. He is a high level rebounder with two-hands and will block shots easily.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2337138' first='Jadd' last='Agha'] Phoenix Country Day ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 17)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top natural shooting wing forwards in the AIA. He has one of those shooting strokes that look good every attempt. He is rebounding more and more and can score it inside plus pull-up from mid-range.&nbsp; <strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2574815' first='Garrison' last='Bambolo'] Willow Canyon ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 16 EYCL)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another skilled wing who is a face-up forward. He can play both spots up front with his size and frame. He can get downhill and has good body control around the hoop. He rebounds well in his area and has more confidence then he did a year ago.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2697397' first='Isaiah' last='Carter'] La Joya (AZ Legacy 17)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long and lean wing forward who is super athletic. He can score with pull-ups from mid-range and grabs rebounds out of his area with his go-go gadget arms. He will hit the three and had a nasty tip dunk in the post. He will once again be one of the top scorers in his region.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
