This skilled big man is one of the premier juniors in the country. He has the size and athleticism to go with a big time skill set that has elite high-majors all over him. He is comfortable in this gym as he was huge in Brad Beal Elite’s run to a 16U Peach Jam crown on the same floor last summer. Good looking shooter that has a free and easy stroke. The quickness and athleticism getting on the offensive boards for tip slams was impressive including one early in the game that has the gym buzzing. Scored 9 points.

Miikka Muurinen is a very fluid big man standing at 6 foot 11 inches tall that showed his versatility against Oak Hill Academy. His athleticism showed on the glass, blocking shots and highlight dunks throughout the game. Throughout the game he never really had times where he didn’t hustle which you want to see out of a prospect of his size. Offensively he has a smooth shot from the perimeter and finished plays in the paint at an elite rate. I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes a pro player in the near future.

Miikka displayed great mobility and all the physical tools you look for in a modern big man this weekend, with his long arms, athleticism, and shooting touch standing out. He consistently showcased his ability to shoot comfortably from beyond the 3-point line, while also finishing above the rim with ease. Muurinen also has soft touch around the basket and plenty of room to add weight to his frame, which would even further enhance his ability to impact the game.
