Walter Hennix III
About Walter
Expert Analysis
Justus Miranda | Prep Hoops Scout
Shifty scorer with quick bursts off the dribble, using hesitations and stop-stutter moves to create space for fadeaways and turnarounds at the midrange. Gets downhill in a flash on the break, converting at the rim with excellent pace and showed his ability to finish through contact for and-ones. Can pull up from three off the dribble as well. Ability to quickly get around hedges on screens while handling the ball made life difficult for defenders to stick with him.

Read EvaluationDelon Bowen | Prep Hoops Scout
He brought a relentless defensive presence, staying in his opponent’s chest and setting the tone with nonstop energy. His motor never dipped, and he communicated well on that end, directing traffic and making sharp reads. Offensively, he showed his versatility—knocking down shots off the catch and attacking downhill with toughness, finishing plays through contact.
