Slinger -- Talented brothers Jack and [player_tooltip player_id='2398448' first='Joey' last='Kohnen'] lead the way for Slinger, but the Owls also boast additional talent in the form of seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1874955' first='Brett' last='Palm'], [player_tooltip player_id='2874937' first='Bryson' last='Fogle'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2765150' first='Colton' last='Mantz']. What's more, junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2508415' first='Jude' last='Siikarla'] (6-6) showed vast improvement in his game over the summer. Slinger will boast one of the best teams in Wisconsin, regardless of division, in 2025-26.

2. Nicolet -- The Knights figure to push Slinger and Division 1 Homestead for the championship in the North Shore Conference, thanks to the return of a stellar backcourt led by the considerable talent of Davis, a four-year varsity performer and clutch shot maker. Bullock III also returns for coach Terence Smith, who guided Nicolet to WIAA State Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024.

3. West DePere -- Even with the loss of junior post player [player_tooltip player_id='2140983' first='Tref' last='Rademaker'] to the DME Prep School program in Delafield, West DePere looks to have another quality squad under coach Todd Deschane. The Phantoms make the move from the Bay Conference to the Fox River Classic and will count heavily on the smarts and skills of their junior backcourt tandem of Borowicz and [player_tooltip player_id='2140897' first='Carson' last='Samson'].

4. Plymouth -- Schultz is back for his fourth year on the varsity squad at Plymouth and will spearhead an otherwise young team in its bid to win the inaugural Glacier Trails Conference title. One of the better guard prospects in the state's 2026 class, Schultz holds NCAA Division II scholarship offers from a large number of schools.

5. Sheboygan South -- The Redwings won just four games last winter, but coach Jesse Shaw's group makes the transition from the Fox River Classic to the Glacier Trails at a good time as the top five players from a year ago return, led by the versatile and athletic Pedrin.

Sleeper Team

Port Washington -- Yet another member of the newly formed Glacier Trails, Port Washington leaves behind the rugged North Shore at a time when it could definitely contend for an upper-division finish in its former conference. Loose and [player_tooltip player_id='2417348' first='Grady' last='Karrels'] are proven performers who could propel the Pirates to a league crown in 2025-26.
