2025-26 Greensboro Day Player Profiles

Greensboro Day School continues to be a powerhouse in the NCISAA. Coming off 6 state championships in the last 11 years, the Bengals will look to defend their 2025 State Championship season. The Bengals lost 6 graduates but return a plethora of experience including 2 starters from the 24-25 team while adding some important pieces that will help keep them on top of the NCISAA 3A.     8 returners give this Bengals' squad a lot of experience to build on from last season:    Giant is a bullish guard who leaves it all out on the court.  He is a tenacious defender and loves to get downhill on his drives. Marty was named NCISAA 3A All-State, PTAC All-Conference, News and Record All-Area 3rd Team and HighSchoolOT All-State Honorable Mention during his junior year. Marty has offers from Bryant and Monmouth and is receiving interest from High Point, App State, Coastal Carolina, and Furman.     Wynn is an athletic wing who attacks in transition and has 3pt range. Wynn is a pesky defender.     Adigun continues to improve his overall game. For his size, he is truly able to stretch the floor with his fluid jump shot.  Julian continues to develop and is expected to contribute more this season.  Julian has received offers from Jacksonville University, Georgia State, Elon, Campbell, Furman, Brown, Harvard, Princeton and Yale and is receiving interest from other Ivy League schools.     Robinson anchors the interior for the Bengals. He rebounds well and is a good shot blocker. He is long and athletic and can run the floor finishing with authority.  He is one to keep your eyes on over the next 2 years. Mason received an offer from High Point University and is receiving interest from UNCG, Elon, Georgetown, and UC-San Diego, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.     Emerson is a long and athletic wing and is going to be one to watch over the next 2 years as he continues to develop! As a freshman, he started 36 games and averaged 4.7ppg and 4.2 rpg. His sophomore year was riddled with injury, but he has recovered and ready to make his presence felt. Jagger is receiving interest from UVA, College of Charleston, and Virginia Tech.     Gunter can serve as a backup ball handler and can really shoot the ball. He has great instincts that allow him to find his shot.  His ability to dribble penetrate makes the defense stay honest. He will be one to keep your eyes on over the next 4 years. As a freshman last season, Micah was named PTAC All-Conference, and News and Record All-Area Honorable Mention. Micah has received offers from Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati.     Juergens played varsity last year, earning valuable experience. An injury in the middle of the season slowed him down some, but he is expected to make a big jump this year.  He is long and explosive and loves to play above the rim.     Duggins's size for his age continues to give him an advantage and his overall skill set is advanced.  He has a high basketball IQ and plays hard on both ends. Grant was recently a standout at the MADE Hoops Mid-Atlanta Middle School Showcase in 2024. Stetson has offered Grant and he will continue to receive interest over the next 4 years. Grant will be a big piece of this team as a freshman.     Bowes has elite vision and passing skills. Bowes uses his high IQ, which allows him to find his teammates and put them in position to succeed.     Drew-King is a transfer from Northern Guilford. He is an elite athlete who plays above the rim. He has solid footwork in the post. He adds strength and depth to an already deep frontcourt.
