Briggs had some impressive flashes running with [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 16u. He's always been a big who can stretch the floor with his shooting touch, but you can tell he's put in a lot of work on his back-to-the-basket game as well. Briggs showed some impressive footwork out of the block, able to create angles to score at the rim, or get his defender leaning one way before spinning into a turnaround jumper the opposite direction. Against a [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] team that was able to defend him with some length, Briggs showed he's unfazed connecting on shots with a hand right in his face.

There wasn't much that [player_tooltip player_id='2381979' first='Tony' last='Johnson'] didn't do for his WOTN team on Sunday. At 6'1 he has a long frame and spent time as a primary ball handler for his team, while also being able to play out on the wing. Calm under pressure, Tony was making smart decisions on the ball, and is an unselfish player who isn't going to over-dribble. Tony could take smaller guards into the post and finish through contact, he defended the 1-3 spots, and provided an extra rebounding presence for his team with his length and athleticism.

I'm not sure I saw a better rebounder at the 15u level over the weekend than Idris. At 6'2 he rebounds the ball like he's 6'6+. Idris has an incredibly long wingspan at his size, and is quick off the floor for tip ins on the offensive end. All weekend long he seemed to be keeping possessions alive with his efforts on the offensive glass, and defensively was able to alter shots with his length around the rim. Just a hard working forward who's going to sprint the floor in transition, pull in every missed shot in his area, and finish off his looks at the rim at a high percentage. Helped lead [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] to a big win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075668' first='Minnesota' last='Bulldogs'] on Sunday.

There's a lot of lost production to make up for in Orono's backcourt this upcoming season, and Grant looks more than ready to step up as a junior. The 2027 guard played a key role in helping lead [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] past Shakopee OG in 16u play, showcasing deep range beyond the arc, a tight handle, and quick decision making. The ball wasn't sticking in his hands, as he could read the defense to know if he could fire from three, blow by a bad closeout, or simply swing the ball. Last year he was primarily a catch-and-shoot threat, but you can see him growing on confidence on the ball, and he could be in for a breakout junior season.

Despite losing a 30 ppg scorer to graduation, Richfield returns with a talented line-up, with [player_tooltip player_id='1560817' first='Adin' last='Inda'] being a player to watch in their backcourt. I saw him running with Real Phenom where he proved difficult for defenders to stick in front of. Adin plays with good change of pace, and is comfortable handling the ball in tight spaces. Was able to use his shifty handle to work his way into the lane, and from there could make plays off two feet as a finisher or facilitator.

Keishaun was one of the standout defenders from this past weekend. Combining elite quickness with a 6'+ frame out on the perimeter, Keishaun was a nightmare for opposing point guards. In a matchup with [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 15u, Rolle was applying constant pressure on the ball, and was able to come up with a number of steals to get his team out in transition. Keishaun has the speed in the open floor to get all the way to the rim and extend to finish with a defender trying to chase him down. His motor never seemed to stop defensively, and his play on both ends was key in the win for [program_tooltip program_id='2422572' first='D1' last='Minnesota Gold'] on Sunday.

Lucas had some nice moments in the second half for [program_tooltip program_id='2075668' first='Minnesota' last='Bulldogs'] on Sunday morning, trying to will his team back into the game against [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite']. He caught fire from three, showing deep range beyond the arc and the confidence to quickly get a shot off when the ball swung his way. When he wasn't connecting from beyond the arc, Lucas showcased impressive vision to set up his teammates. He was able to accurately get the ball through tight gaps leading to high percentage shots.
