Samuels is a skilled scorer that has sharpened his ball-handling ability to allow him to get to his spots in the halfcourt. The improved handle has allowed him to push the pace in transition where he serves as a viable passer, play-finisher at the rim, or shooter from beyond the arc. Love that he impacts the game as a rebounder to earn himself trips to the line to get himself into a rhythm at the offensive end of the floor.

-The lightning quick scoring CG maintains his #2 spot after a productive summer both with his AAU and HS teams. Love the consistency that we see from him as a scorer who rarely puts up less than 20 points in a game thanks to his foul-drawing and finishing abilities in the paint. His jumper has gotten more fluid off the bounce as well, enabling him to create for himself at all 3 levels as a more well-rounded prospect.

-Brown moves up in our rankings to the third spot behind a productive summer at the helm of both his HS and AAU teams. Brown's play-making and vision have taken a step forward as he is passing teammates open in transition and getting two feet in the paint before kicking out to shooters or finding a cutter. He's cut down on his turnovers by making the simple read or passing out of a tough spot so that he can lift to the top of the key to begin initiating the offense again. Love the strides he has made as a leader that is showing more maturity as a floor general for his teams.

-The Indiana commit has been a steadying presence for his team now that he is fully healthy. The explosive combo guard thrives in transition but can also get downhill in the halfcourt without a ball screen to wreak havoc in the paint for his team. Love that he is using his scoring gravity to create for teammates while still remaining aggressive offensively within the flow of the game.

-Some subtle tweaks to his jumper are reaping benefits as he is knocking down open looks both off the catch and off the bounce. Collingwood also serves as a disruptive play-maker at the defensive end of the floor, serving as a versatile defender that can scale up or down a position to fill needs within his team's defensive schemes. Love that he hasn't gotten away from his bread and butter by still habitually slashing to the basket and using his athleticism to finish over smaller defenders.

-When healthy, he is a physical force at both ends of the floor for his teams. Still love Ibe's long term potential as a true center that takes pride in flushing home dunks, blocking shots, and hitting the glass to rebound the basketball. His instincts as a shot-blocker have improved and he's developed a much more intimidating and menacing mentality as a bruising center looking to disrupt opposing gameplans. Ibe used momentum from a productive summer to turn in a nice performance at the NBA Top 100 camp that made believers of several HM basketball coaches.

-Huan has spent the bulk of his summer representing his country (China) in the FIBA U19 World Cup. Huan become much more productive and comfortable within the Hoya's system as the season went along and flashed some tantalizing upside as an athletic forward prospect that can block shots, finish plays around the basket, and rebound the basketball with some C+S upside as a pick n pop guy. If he can continue to develop to play with more consistency and aggression, he can easily rocket back up our rankings.

-People love to doubt Meeks' impact on the game and he continues a summer of proving them wrong as a shooter that can really swing the tide of a game. I haven't seen many games that he hasn't cracked double digits scoring the basketball and he typically makes at least three 3s a game on pretty good percentages. The handle has sharpened and he's beginning to effectively mix in 1 or 2-dribble pull-ups as a way to attack closeouts--from a standstill or off a spin move to free up some space. Meeks is also finding more opportunities to attack the basket--especially in transition-- to earn more trips to the line to give his team consistent offensive production.

-Cannady seems to be turning the corner as the lead guard for a SFA team that has knocked off some big names this summer. Cannady excels on manipulating screens to free up open looks for jumpers behind the arc-- and he doesn't need much space to get off a clean look. Love that he's mixing in more baseline drives to get easy layups or earn trips to the lines in lieu of shooting more corner 3s.

-Able's productive and consistent play has caught the eye of all of our scouts as an effective leader for the Patriots. Able's bread and butter is the 3 point shooting but some drastic changes to his diet has allowed him to cut weight and be much more explosive attacking closeouts from the perimeter. He rebounds the basketball at a high level for his size and position but he's also made some big strides as a creator from a standstill or off of movement. The afore-mentioned improvements to his physique have allowed him to become a much more consistent on-ball defender that stays in front of his matchup without fouling. Able's ability to score an efficient 15+ points while habitually contributing 5+ rebounds and 3+ assists despite being at the top of every scouting report speaks to his value as a prospect.
