Also a standout football player at quarterback for the Mustangs, Effa used his strength, movement and aggressiveness to score 58 points and drain five three-point shots in the Mustangs' wins over Kaukauna Orange, Sheboygan Lutheran, New Holstein and Ripon. He was a key player a year ago when he averaged 9.0 points and 5.0 rebounds for a Little Chute squad that went 21-7 and advanced to the WIAA Division 3 sectional finals.

Pools I/J Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='2614867' first='Owen' last='Birschbach'], 6-4, Soph., F, New Holstein
New Holstein appears to have a vastly improved team and the biggest reason for the Huskies' advancement is Birschbach. An athletic wing with size, skill and athleticism, Birschbach scored 20 points and made the scoreboard change from all three levels in a tense 43-41 win over Kaukauna Orange. He also finished with 17 points in a 36-30 win over Ripon, 16 in a 49-31 loss to Little Chute and 13 in a loss to Sheboygan Lutheran. Birschbach's activity on the court is impressive as he can guard multiple positions with his lateral quickness and length while also scoring over smaller defenders in the paint.

Pools I/J All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2714923' first='Oscar' last='Brown'], 6-2, Soph., G/F, Cambridge
[player_tooltip player_id='2404952' first='Cal' last='Nottestad'], 6-4, Sr., F, Cambridge
[player_tooltip player_id='2381585' first='Carter' last='Mauel'], 5-8, Sr., G, Clintonville
[player_tooltip player_id='2330107' first='Elijah' last='O'Claire'], 6-6, Jr., F, Kaukauna Orange
[player_tooltip player_id='2853270' first='Roman' last='Holzschuh'], 6-0, Jr., G/F, Kimberly White
[player_tooltip player_id='2815125' first='Carmine' last='Moctezuma'], 6-1, Sr., F, Kohler
[player_tooltip player_id='2883490' first='Carter' last='Zimmermann'], 6-4, Jr., F, Kohler
[player_tooltip player_id='2501117' first='Cooper' last='Effa'], 6-2, Sr., G/F, Little Chute
Trevor Verhagen, 6-1, Jr., G, Little Chute
[player_tooltip player_id='2614867' first='Owen' last='Birschbach'], 6-4, Soph., F, New Holstein|
[player_tooltip player_id='2401435' first='Blake' last='Bradley'], 6-1, Soph., G, Ripon
[player_tooltip player_id='2382133' first='Marion' last='Boyland'], 6-5, Jr., F, Sheboygan Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2224503' first='Brennen' last='Hackbarth'], 6-4, Sr., F, Sheboygan Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2509476' first='Oliver' last='Leibham'], 5-10, Jr., G, Sheboygan Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2387959' first='Lauden' last='Berg'], 6-2, Sr., F, Southern Door

Pool K Standings
Port Washington 4-0, Roncalli 3-1, Ashwaubenon 2-2, Watertown 1-3, Fox Valley Lutheran 0-4.

Pool L Standings
Wauwatosa West Green 4-0, Seymour 3-1, [program_tooltip program_id='2829078' first='West' last='De Pere'] 2-2, Beaver Dam 1-3, Edgerton 0-4.

Pools K/L Title Game
Port Washington 44, Wauwatosa West Green 35. Loose had four points at halftime against Wauwatosa West, but he went for 12 points in the second and made some huge baskets when the Trojans were making a run. In another solid victory, Loose played strong defense and helped to hold Roncalli to just 13 second-half points in a 42-28 triumph. Loose also had a game-best 16 points in that contest. He also had 20 points and made six straight foul shots down the stretch to help the Pirates come from behind to turn back Fox Valley Lutheran. Loose averaged 14.4 ppg as a junior in the North Shore and could have his team poised for a banner season in 2025-26 in the newly formed Glacier Trails Conference.

Pools K/L Breakout Performer
[player_tooltip player_id='2615539' first='Jordan' last='Krause'], 6-1, Soph., G, Seymour
It doesn't take long to realize Krause possesses tremendous basketball instincts. He simply makes the right play almost every time he touches the ball. His floor vision is the No. 1 thing that immediately stands out when watching him compete, but he's also a good shooter and scorer, and excels on the defensive end of the court. When it's crunch time, you can bet Seymour coach Bobby Kuchta will have Krause on the court during the difficult games in the Bay Conference next winter. Krause scored when he had to for Seymour in Kaukauna, but his impact on the game in areas other than scoring was a big reason the Thunder went 3-1 with impressive wins over [program_tooltip program_id='2829078' first='West' last='De Pere'], Beaver Dam and Edgerton.

Pools K/L All-Tournament Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2391086' first='Carson' last='Dorgu'], 6-8, Sr., F, Ashwaubenon
[player_tooltip player_id='2088029' first='Elijah' last='Fenner'], 6-0, Sr., G, Ashwaubenon
[player_tooltip player_id='2496335' first='Parker' last='Blank'], 5-10, Sr., G, Beaver Dam
[player_tooltip player_id='2391088' first='EJ' last='Salettel'], 6-3, Sr., G, Beaver Dam
[player_tooltip player_id='2371701' first='Isaiah' last='Yuenger'], 6-4, Jr., G/F, Beaver Dam
Vinny Fox, 6-0, Jr., G, Edgerton
[player_tooltip player_id='2385567' first='Amani' last='Dahlke'], 6-5, Sr., F, Fox Valley Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2381574' first='Gabe' last='Heiges'], 5-8, Sr., G, Fox Valley Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='2417348' first='Grady' last='Karrels'], 6-3, Sr., F, Port Washington
[player_tooltip player_id='2303643' first='Cal' last='Loose'], 6-0, Sr., G, Port Washington
[player_tooltip player_id='2417345' first='Jack' last='Lorier'], 6-1, Sr., F, Port Washington
[player_tooltip player_id='1561958' first='Donovan' last='Cowley'], 6-3, Sr., G, Roncalli
[player_tooltip player_id='2420137' first='Dominik' last='Frozena'], 6-5, Sr., F, Roncalli
[player_tooltip player_id='2508496' first='Teage' last='Cornell'], 5-10, Soph., G, Seymour
[player_tooltip player_id='2615539' first='Jordan' last='Krause'], 6-1, Soph., G, Seymour
[player_tooltip player_id='2391083' first='Kyler' last='Marks'], 6-5, Sr., F, Seymour
[player_tooltip player_id='2140956' first='Macallister' last='Hayes'], 5-9, Jr., G, Watertown
[player_tooltip player_id='2381446' first='Landon' last='Washetas'], 6-3, Jr., G/F, Watertown
[player_tooltip player_id='2288469' first='Jalen' last='Brown'], 6-5, Jr., G, Wauwatosa West Green
[player_tooltip player_id='1561869' first='Matthew' last='Kloskey'], 6-5, Sr., G/F, Wauwatosa West Green
Kason Magnum, 6-6, Jr., F, Wauwatosa West Green
[player_tooltip player_id='2140983' first='Tref' last='Rademaker'], 6-9, Jr., F, [program_tooltip program_id='2829078' first='West' last='De Pere']
[player_tooltip player_id='2140897' first='Carson' last='Samson'], 6-0, Jr., G, [program_tooltip program_id='2829078' first='West' last='De Pere']
