Washetas was all over the floor for the Goslings on Saturday morning. The 6-foot-3 wing prospect was extremely active on the glass generating buckets for himself and creating extra offensive possessions for Watertown. Washetas does the little things for Watertown, takes charges, defends teams’ better players, and dives on the floor for loose balls to complement his offensive skillset. Washetas finished the game with a double double (14 points, 10 rebounds). He was extended with an offer to play at Maranatha College in Watertown earlier this fall.

One of the more pleasant surprises in the 16U bracket, Washetas was locked in from the get go for Wisconsin Breakaway in its win over Powerhouse Minnesota. He proved to be a strong defender, both on the perimeter and along the baseline. He moved well without the basketball, and when the ball found him, he was accurate with his jump shot, both from mid range and from outside the arc. Washetas as good size and skill, and has emerged as one of the better wing prospects in the 2027 class.
