It's important in recruiting to strike at the right time, and Workman did just that in a dominant Sunday afternoon game. In the feature game of a somewhat light game set, with several D1 head coaches lingering around for the following game, the Swiss-army wing guard made a statement in a 30-point win to earn his way onto D1 boards himself. Workman was unstoppable in transition, pushing the break into timely dropoff passes or running lanes for explosive dunks. His ability to also initiate halfcourt offense at his size while being able to keep things honest as a spotup shooter make him a no-brainer at the scholarship level (as indicated by a Sunday night offer by D2 Goldey Beacom) with a real chance to prove himself as a D1 player if he continues this level of play.

Workman's running mate with Morris Catholic, Gregory was equally impressive in a blowout win in front of several D1 head coaches. His game isn't as explosive as his teammate's, but Gregory makes his mark with his efficient production and movements as a dynamic off-ball threat and growing on-ball playmaker. He's as consistent and refined a shooter off screens as you'll find in the class, with a pure stroke that translates smoothly into the pullup game. His ability to guard the ball and get into transition as a threat to run for 3s or push it himself to create for his teammates make him a clean and translatable fit for a valuable role at the next level.

With more than a half-dozen D1 head coaches and several more mid-major assistants looking on, including nearly the entire staff from Temple, Morton-Rivera continued to stake his claim as the top unsigned scoring guard and one of the top long-term prospects in the state. A proven high-level shooter who was a bit off from long range last weekend, he got back on track while burying a handful of key jumpers down the stretch of a tight finish. Always smart and competitive in the floor game, he's continuing to blossom physically and athletically to be able to really leave his mark as a defender and rebounding guard. The athletic growth also shows itself in transition where he's becoming increasingly quick and dynamic as a finisher. Young for his grade and with bloodlines in his favor, Morton-Rivera could wind up looking like a steal at the mid-major level if his late-blooming physical maturation continues into college.

Capping a strong pair of live weekends that showed he's continuing to turn the corner with his consistency, Carter impressed in front of several high-major assistants with his dynamic on-ball skillset as a jumbo guard. With elite positional size and the chance to grow even further, he has some dazzling moments as a shot-creator using a silky and reactive handle with increasingly consistent shotmaking ability from all levels. As he grows, Carter has learned to use his size and length in the floor game while coming up with steals and rebounds. He shows impressive court vision, but continuing to learn the balance between his scoring and facilitating will be a key area of growth moving forward as Carter looks to push his way further up high-major recruiting lists in the 2028 class.

It's becoming easy to write about Hiller as a standout just about each time out at this point, as the newly 15-year-old wing scorer is coming into his own in real time while seemingly becoming aware of his own talents as perhaps the top long-term prospect in the state. One of the elite young shooting prospects we've seen, he showed signs on Sunday of continuing to round out his game. Having grown and reapportioned his frame at a rapid rate in the past two years, he was highly effective using his relatively newfound size and athleticism to work his way to spots for strong finishes in the halfcourt or run lanes with impressive body control finishing athletically around defenders. Continuing to add layers to his arsenal, Hiller makes it easy to see why programs like Duke, Syracuse, Notre Dame, VCU and more had assistants on hand for him already.

Some of the best recruiting stories start in back gyms late on Sunday afternoons, and while Gordon is too established to fall into the hidden gem category, that's where he found himself with his defending state champion Plainfield group. Gordon made the most of the stage, putting on a show in a dominant blowout win and leaving no doubt about his place among the elite guards in the region. He dazzled while getting to his spots on command off the dribble, mostly setting up teammates but also sneaking in a few chances to show his increasingly explosive athleticism as a finisher above the rim. Seton Hall had an assistant on hand for his late game, with West Virginia, Mississippi State, and others having stopped in earlier in the afternoon.

Under the radar having played behind multiple 1,000-point scorers during his high school career, Moore is really turning the corner as a player and prospect while stepping into a marquee role for the first time as a rising senior. Despite a lopsided loss, Moore looked a bit bigger and even more explosive, showing himself to be a dynamic threat as a shot-creator at multiple levels of the floor. He's athletic as a finisher at the rim and shows some vision as a dropoff or kickout passer when he draws help defenders off the dribble. D1 coaches will look to see more of a refined off-ball game as a shooter, but as Moore continues to make strides he should be firmly on the radar of scholarship-level coaches heading into the final stretch of the grassroots season.
