Leading the way with 30 points, 15 in each half, Gunther continued to show why he's one of the top scorers in Ohio. Best as a ball handler, Gunther is almost impossible to stay in front of and once Ursuline has the lead late Gunther does an excellent job of getting past traps to head to the foul line. Gunther also had a sick skip pass to the corner to set up a wide open 3-pointer to end the third quarter, showing how he uses his scoring gravity to set teammates up. One of the top point guards in Ohio, Gunther has a handful of Division I offers already and should add to his list this summer.

Bell scored his 1,000th career point off a steal that led to an and-1 dunk to extend Ursuline's lead that they would never surrender in the fourth quarter. Bell is a physical wing who applies a lot of ball pressure and has quick hands defensively. Looking to overpower defenders at the rim, Bell wants to go straight through your chest in the paint. Congrats to Noah on 1,000 career points and Ursuline on another marquee victory.

Goins has been a steady presence for Summit Country Day this season as an undersized point guard who helps control the tempo. A shifty ball handler, Goins gets low to the ground off the dribble and changes directions quickly. Making a couple mid-range jumpers, Goins pitched in as a scorer in the half-court. With Summit graduating a couple of pieces, Goins will be a crucial piece next season.

Another big game for Joiner who has continued to show why he's regarded as one of the top 2028's in the state. Joiner is an elite defender who had a couple of blocks and his overall presence is something opposing offenses must keep track of. Making a couple 3-pointers off movement, Summit Country Day ran some nice sets to free him up. I also liked the confidence of Joiner to attempt a step-back 3-pointer late in the game. That continued perimeter offensive development is most important for Joiner who is as good as it gets athletically and defensively in the class of 2028.

Hill was the most productive player for Lutheran East and made some clutch plays throughout the game for the Falcons. Hill knocked down a big 3-pointer to give Lutheran east the lead with a minute left. Earlier in the fourth quarter Hill had a sweet kickout to [player_tooltip player_id='2125763' first='Ty' last='Harrison'] for another clutch 3-pointer. Defensively, Hill did a nice job on Maysville's guards and had a couple steals that led to buckets. While Lutheran East's unbeaten season came to an end, Hill was a clear standout in front of a crazy crowd.

The guy who made Massillon go in this one, Gamble scored 20 of the Tigers 60 first half points. A strong wing who can knock down open shots efficiently, Gamble hit a corner 3-pointer just before the first quarter buzzer and had another one from the wing early in the game. I also liked Gamble's ability to drive and kick to teammates, finding open guys ready to score. Showing off his athleticism off a steal, Gamble had a breakaway dunk in transition. Holding three MAC football offers, Gamble is also a talented athlete on the hardwood.

I was impressed with Williams ability to play on balance, knocking down four 3-pointers in the first half. Williams gets great dip before he catches passes, allowing him to get good lift on his release and arc on his shot. A stocky framed guard with broad shoulders, Williams played off two feet and was able to make live dribble passing reads. Very impressed with Massillon as a team and Williams was one of their top individual performers.

One of the hottest prospects in the greater Pittsburgh area, Federico continued his impressive sophomore season by leading Chartiers Valley to an impressive win over Lutheran West. Federico scored within the flow of the offense, not forcing the issue. I was impressed with how well Chartiers Valley moved the ball, usually getting open shots with their feet set. Federico also showed off his athleticism with a dunk immediately after a steal in their full court press. When Lutheran West made their final push of the game, Federico knocked down a corner 3-pointer to put the game away. Expect to hear a lot about Federico this summer for Wildcat Select on the 3SSB circuit.
