-Burst and pace in the halfcourt were phenomenal, even when faced with ball pressure from a pretty pesky SJC backcourt. Elliott proved his value as a playmaker off the bounce with or without a ball screen, executing reads to deliver on-target passes a frame or two before his target was open to lead them perfectly to an open look. Elliott also proved that he can excel off the ball as a shooter that relocates well to space, knocking down five triples on 6 attempts from beyond the arc

-Moody did an incredible job of scoring the basketball while also pushing the pace for the Mustangs in transition, the best example being a pull-up jumper off the spin move in the key to create separation for a short jumper that splashed nothing but net. Moody knocked down a pair of C+S looks from the wings, was active defensively, and hit a 2-foot floater in the key— really like the improved balance on his jumper, especially in transition. Moody has worked hard to improve his body and it shows as he is faster, stronger, and making more explosive cuts with the basketball in his hands.

-Spent the afternoon slicing through the Panthers' defense to create advantage opportunities for his team in a big win. His back foot burst has improved to give him a nice boost when attacking the basket off the bounce to make plays for himself and others. The handle has improved to allow him to play-make with his head up, seeing double teams before they arrive and reading the backside of the defense well to make the right play. Loved the balance on a stop n pop short jumper in transition to push the lead to double digits under 3 mins.

-Our scouts continue to come away impressed by Wilson's ability to make plays for himself or others in the halfcourt as he blends in assists with buckets of his own throughout the game. Armed with an explosive first step and an improved handle that allows him to pass off a live dribble with ease with either hand-- Wilson is constantly breaking down his matchup to force defensive rotations that give his teammates clean looks at the rim. Love the way he uses his athleticism to collect steals and deflections, providing good on-ball defense while also keeping his head up to intercept passes as a roving guard that has earned himself more of a leash to make such plays on the defensive end of the floor.

-Came way really impressed with Howard's activity level in this one as he recovered well to fight his way back into the play and collect blocks both on and off the ball as a mobile defender. His activity extends to his work on the glass as he fights to do his work early to gain position for errant shots that he can convert into putback buckets around the basket or trips to the FT line. Love the steps he's taken on the defensive end of the floor to thrive as the five or play alongside another big to share the responsibilities of manning the low block and providing help. If he can consistently play-make from the wings and knock down perimeter jumpers to keep the defense honest-- I think he can play his way into a scholarship over the next year.

-Loved the balance of the shot diet in this one for Cannady as he mixed in several baseline drives for layups with his usual diet of made 3s from behind the arc. Cannady did a great job with his pre-catch reads to attack to space or rise up for a jumper before the ball even got to him and his shooting prowess really opened up the game for the Panthers. Cannady showed that his quick hands can also create havoc at the defensive end of the floor as he doubled down to the block well throughout the game to poke away the ball from bigs to initiate a fastbreak going back the opposite direction.

-By far the most balanced and standout offensive performance that I've seen from Fisk to date in a dominant win over Malvern Prep. The talented senior has really polished the ball skills and it showed through in a balanced offensive performance. Fisk hit a face up 3 from the wing after a few jab steps, cashed out on a stepback And1 3 from the wing (made the ensuing FT), raced it in transition to throw it down with 1 hand, and hit several C+S opportunities off the ball. Loved how decisive his reads are becoming as he wastes no time getting right into his move after making the catch. He was very active both on and off the ball defensively, drove middle and hit a cutting teammate with a beautiful no-look dime before jumping a passing lane to collect a steal and dunk in transition at the other end to close out a statement win.
