Quran is one of the top guard in the area. Made one of the largest rankings jump in the ’26 class. High-level scorer from any level and he get to any spot on the floor. Runs the pick-and-roll well, patiently finding his spot to attack. Quran does well at keeping the defense at a disadvantage while he looks for avenues to get into his best look. Takes shots from anywhere on the floor and knocks them down with consistency. Quran is Mt. Zion’s main source of scoring and he is confident in his ability each game.

15p 8r 5a vs DME
-Man oh man, Elliott showed out in a big way and gave his team everything you could ask for in a modern PG. He laced two 3s in transition, got to the rim with ease, and used his scoring gravity to deliver a few beautiful dimes to teammates at just the right moment. The passing really impressed as he was throwing hook passes with some zip off a live dribble, dropping off shovel passes around the defense to his bigs, and hitting pocket passes off the bounce both forwards and in reverse to his target. Elliott played with such speed and pace on the ball, using an aggressive playing style to bully his way to spots on the floor.

Quron Elliot is a true floor general who can also fill it up as a scorer. He had a couple of nice second-chance points he got for himself, and he had a great day shooting the ball from three. Quron was terrific as a passer, running the offense and not turning it over. Quron had a complete performance, he had 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists in a Mt. Zion Prep win.

DMV Live
-Elliott moves up to the Mt Zion Prep team from the HS team and should make an immediate impact as a scoring point guard prospect. He’s got a deceptively-quick first step but is also capable of putting his matchup on a poster. His combination of paint touches and perimeter shooting should make for an intriguing package of skills for college coaches to take notice. Whether it’s a really nice pass off the dunk, a poster dunk, or a game-winner– he seems to be in store for a big weekend.

Quron Elliot had an efficient and dominant game for Mt Zion. Quron’s playmaking was excellent all game, but he was pretty quiet as a scorer early. His uptick in aggressiveness was a big reason Mt. Zion’s offense did what it did in the second half. He showed off his handle and shot creation and had an amazing day shooting the ball from range. His passing and shooting looked as good as anyone on the day. He finished with 21 points and 7 assists.

21p 7a 4r 1s in 21 mins vs SJC
-Burst and pace in the halfcourt were phenomenal, even when faced with ball pressure from a pretty pesky SJC backcourt. Elliott proved his value as a playmaker off the bounce with or without a ball screen, executing reads to deliver on-target passes a frame or two before his target was open to lead them perfectly to an open look. Elliott also proved that he can excel off the ball as a shooter that relocates well to space, knocking down five triples on 6 attempts from beyond the arc

14p 3a 3r vs Clinton Grace
Elliott shined in his outing against Clinton Grace. He was able to put up some impressive baskets in a couple of quick flurries. Quron used his handle well and got to any spot he wanted on the floor. Took some very efficient shots throughout the game and made the defense honor his aggression all night. I was impressed watching the way he flowed offensively on the floor. Even as the game started to change hands towards the opponent’s way, Elliot still maintained his offensive threat.

22p 3r 1a vs Rock Top
-Had a breakout performance in a big win over Rock Top highlighted by 4 dunks, the biggest being a left-handed hammer in transition on an opponent. Elliott returns to the area to step into a pretty big role with MZN as a play-maker off the bounce that shifts gears well to get to his spots. Elliott had a great sequence midway through the 1H with a poster dunk on the baseline, reverse finish off glass, and an extension lay with the left around the defense. As college coaches see the play-making and scoring that he brings on a nightly basis, I expect his recruitment to pick up

-Elliott returns back to the area from a year playing with and against some of the top talent in the country at AZ Compass. Elliott has grown as a playmaker on the ball that is always probing the defense to create for his teammates, executing one-handed dimes while also directing traffic after making a pass to collect hockey assists. The southpaw lead guard has also developed better feel for when to get his own, knocking down C+S looks or finishing around the basket with extension lays once he knows he has a step on his matchup.
