June was a busy month covering all of the scholastic events here in the state of Indiana including great live period events like the Charlie Hughes Showcase and IBCA Top 100 Showcase. However, on top of all of that, we also spent a great deal of time in June updating our prospect rankings. The rising seniors in the Class of 2026 had their expanded and updated prospect rankings released on Monday, June 30th. Now, as we always do here at Prep Hoops Indiana, it is time to dive deeper into the rankings. Over the course of this week we will highlight stock-risers, new names, Watch List players to know, and much more. Here is part one of our two part look at the biggest stock-risers since our last update in March.

Crews is a big man that has always had a ton of upside but appears to have really put it together heading into his senior season. Not only is he a legitimate 6'10" with long arms, but he also runs the floor very well and is bouncy around the rim. He plays above the rim as a finisher and shot-blocker. There is no doubt that his best basketball is still ahead of him and that should be exciting for the college coaches that are evaluating him. Crews made a big jump from #62 to #29 in our prospect rankings. He really looks like a different player now.

The scholarship offers have to start coming soon for this super talented guard out of Crown Point High School. It is hard to find a guard in the state that plays with a more consistent motor. Then, you consider the level of production that he consistently brings for both Crown Point and [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] who win the overwhelming vast majority of their games. He is really fun to watch and should have multiple scholarship opportunities already. Darrell jumped 10 more spots in our rankings from #31 to #21.

We identified Ladd's upside pretty early on in his career, but his junior season, and now into this summer, has really taken things to another level. He earned a spot on the Indiana Junior All-Star team after leading Ben Davis High School in scoring and becoming a knockdown three-point shooter. Then, his athleticism and positional size on the perimeter earned him several Division I scholarship offers throughout the spring and summer. The latest came on Monday from Kent State. Ladd jumped from #23 to #11 overall in our Class of 2026 Rankings.

One of just a few committed prospects in Indiana's Class of 2026, Marshall went off of the board early to traditional Crossroads League powerhouse Bethel. The 6'3" guard is a high-percentage shot-maker with a well-rounded offensive game for defending Sectional champion Columbia City. The sneaky pop of athleticism that he combines with his ball skill is a big reason why he jumped from #72 to #55 overall in our Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings.

When discussing the best shooters in the state of Indiana it would be pretty unlikely that many folks would mention [player_tooltip player_id='2813503' first='Lane' last='Pendleton']. However, that would make the list insufficient. The 6'4" wing/forward absolutely deserves to be considered among the state's best catch-and-shoot threats after making 66 three-point shots at a 49.3% clip as a junior at Brownstown Central. Pendleton, who made seven three-pointers in a game at the Charlie Hughes Showcase, jumped significantly from #127 to #68 in our prospect rankings.

Taylor has improved rapidly just since the high school season and it sent him another 10 spots higher in our rankings from #67 to #57. The 6'7"-6'8" post player finishes well with both hands around the basket and is comfortable making really post moves inside. He has good footwork, a soft touch, and seems to have gotten stronger while also being more fluid as an athlete. That all adds up to earning stock-riser status in this rankings update.

You won't find many more dynamic playmakers in the rising senior class than this 5'11" point guard at Lawrence North High School. We have always loved Webster's passing ability, and that is still a big part of his game, but he has really grown as a scorer and is now ready to be a go-to option for the Wildcats as a senior. It will be fun to watch him compete at the highest level this summer as well with [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] on the EYBL Circuit. Webster jumped from #54 to #42 in our prospect rankings.

Weemer is part of a talented returning core at Hamilton Southeastern High School. He averaged 10.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as a junior and quickly caught our attention as a potential stock-riser this spring. The 6'6" forward is very physical around the basket, has a repertoire of real post moves, and is pretty skilled with the ball out on the perimeter as well. Division II Emporia State came in with an offer in the spring to help solidify what we thought of his growth as a player. Weemer made a big jump from #92 to #48 overall in the Class of 2026.
