Erick was a key figure in [program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite']'s win over Minnesota Suns in their opening game. The 2027 guard is so slippery finding his way through gaps in the defense, able to get to the rim and extend to finish with either hand. When his team needed a bucket in the second half, they could get the ball to Erick and let him go to work off the dribble. Flashed his shooting range with a pair of three point shots as well. Long and lanky frame allows him to defend the 1-3 spots effectively out on the perimeter.

Maxwell Muhl is an absolute sniper for [program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite']. The 2026 guard has to be accounted for at all times, or he'll make you pay by putting three points on the board. He did a great job of constantly moving off the ball to try to find pockets of space, and when left open he had a quick release to get his shot off before a defender could close out on him. Also showed some quickness with the ball in his hands, including a nice spin move down the lane leading to a touch finish early in the first half. Muhl dropped a team high 28 points to help lead [program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite'] past Minnesota Suns.

Cameron impressed on night one against a tough [program_tooltip program_id='2075517' first='Hopson' last='Elite'] team. He started off the game showing his floor general skills, as he was handling it under pressure and kept the ball moving. Minnesota Suns share the ball really well, and the quick/sharp passes from Sandeen certainly helped. When they started to need a scoring spark though, Cameron showed he can knock down the outside shot at a high level. He hit a handful of pull-up jumpers to help bring his team back into the game and keep things competitive down the stretch. Defensively I really liked the energy he brought to the floor, as he was a vocal presence and was constantly pressuring the ball.

Long and lanky forward running with Team Dynasty 17u. Navelle was coming up with bigs plays in the paint on both ends of the floor, as he was a dominant presence on the glass for his team. Put a lot of effort into sprinting rim to rim, and that effort helped lead to some transition scoring opportunities. Despite a slender frame he showed he's not afraid to play through some contact, powering his way to the rim for some strong finishes in the paint.

Caleb helped lead his Splash Athletics team to a close win on Friday night. The 2025 guard is a physical and explosive presence who excelled at getting to the rim and drawing fouls. He could attack from the wing, or catch out of the high post, face up, and power his way to the basket. Showcased explosive athleticism with a transition dunk early in the game. I liked his effort to pick up and pressure the ball against smaller guards, and that effort resulted in a steal and score when picking up full-court.

You can see why Amir is currently ranked in the top 20 in Illinois' 2028 class. Playing up at the 16u level, he has an impressive skillset at his age. Amir has deep range beyond the arc, and knocked down a handful of deep threes throughout the game. At times he was getting pushed around by some of the older/stronger guards, but was still able to mix in shot-fakes and hesitation moves to get into the lane where he was a crafty finisher. Knows when to swing the ball and when he can go to work off the dribble. Really nice feel for the game as just a freshman.

Absolute bruiser of a wing/guard who kept his team in it with [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite']. Joshua has a strong frame at around 6'2-6'3, and he knows how to use it. Showed a quick first step to get by defenders on the wing, and from there was able to pin guys on his hip and shield them off as he worked his way to the rim. Had no problem finishing off a few looks while being fouled, showing impressive strength as a sophomore. Was at his best getting to the rim, but can make you pay for giving him too much space from three.
