Expert Analysis

A power athlete from the wing guard position, Graham has the physical strength to bully defenders when he drives to the rim. With a lot of talent with the ball in his hands, Graham can change pace and directions on the ball and found success driving to his left on Sunday. While he can sometimes be out of control on the ball, Graham’s steady dribble drive attacking style is tough to stop for defenses as he is not going to slow down when attacking the rim. One of the most productive scorers in the Toledo area, Graham is a name to watch for regional small college programs.

Graham is a shifty guard with a good wingspan and a natural feel for the game. When he gets into a rhythm, he’s super tough to stop. He can knock down shots when open, but he’s also dangerous slashing to the rim. His quickness and creativity make him a tough matchup for any defender.

Graham knows how to score it. He has always had a knack for putting the ball in the rim and this has not changed. He was able to score on all three levels. He used his length well around the rim as he showed the ability to finish on both sides of the rim from any angle. His off-the-dribble pull-ups were effective in keeping the defenders off balance. If you need a 1 on 1 bucket, Graham can do that for you. It’s impressive as he is playing up this year.

Erick was a key figure in Hopson Elite ‘s win over Minnesota Suns in their opening game. The 2027 guard is so slippery finding his way through gaps in the defense, able to get to the rim and extend to finish with either hand. When his team needed a bucket in the second half, they could get the ball to Erick and let him go to work off the dribble. Flashed his shooting range with a pair of three point shots as well. Long and lanky frame allows him to defend the 1-3 spots effectively out on the perimeter.

The TAAC has a sneaky amount of young talent as Maumee Valley Country Day and Emmanuel Christian also have ranked guards in our 2027 rankings alongside Graham. Graham put up impressive numbers for Cardinal Stritch this season as a wing guard scorer who has impressive athleticism and slashing ability. After his strong season Graham was named first team all-conference and first team all-district. After a strong effort at the Toledo Top 64, I’ll be excited to see Graham in an organized setting this summer.

Graham was someone who was a good secret in the 2027 class but not anymore. There is no secret that this kid can go. He had flashes all throughout the day of being an elite-level scorer. He is only a sophomore and I expect to put all his tools together sooner rather than later. He has great length and shiftiness. He can make a bucket from anywhere on the court. He has a nice handle on the ball and gets the defense on skates.

Graham is a hooper. He has great fluidity and handle on the ball. He has a plethora of moves he can go to when he is left on an island with a defender. He can shoot extremely well off the dribble. He has a good shot and it comes off his hand quickly when he is feeling it. He does a good job of getting to the rim as well because of his change of speed.
