Prep Ho[program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] Indiana had boots on the ground coverage throughout the weekend in Fort Wayne for the annual Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. This event is always the premier recruiting and evaluation event of the spring and that certainly was the case again this year. We really value the opportunity to see so many teams from the Hoosier state, from across several different shoe/independent circuits, come together to play in one event. Over the next few days we will be pumping a lot of content from the Run N Slam. In this article let's take a look at some of the Class of 2027 and 2028 prospects from the state of Indiana that jumped out as potential stock-risers or new names over the weekend.

Auler has had a strong spring for [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'] 16u and that certainly continued into the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. The 6'2" guard from Tipton High School was a consistent scoring threat throughout the weekend with games of 13, 14, and 19 points. He should step into a larger role this coming high school season and in the meantime is a fun player to watch with [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'].

Already ranked as a Top 50 prospect in the Prep Ho[program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings, Baskerville II had himself an excellent weekend. The New Haven High School guard averaged 21.3 points per game while shooting just shy of 50% from three-point range. His pure scoring ability was on full display for a very talented [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] - UA Rise 16u team.

This 6'3" wing had a good sophomore season at Triton Central and then really caught our attention on Saturday at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam while playing with Indiana Basketball Club 16u. Butler is extremely versatile on the wing. He scored via catch-and-shoot three-point shots on the perimeter, strong right hand drives, and athletic finishes at the rim. One to keep an eye on going forward.

The Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam was one of our first opportunities to really evaluate this point guard prospect from Columbus East High School. Lewis, a 5'10" floor general, did a great job of running the show for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 16u while leading them to a good deal of success over the weekend. He is comfortable and under control with the ball in his hands, a threat to get downhill as a creator for himself and others, and an active on-ball defender.

Due to a mistake in the roster packet, I mistakingly referred to Linderman as a Corydon Central prospect during the event on Saturday. However, Silver Creek is equally lucky to have him. The 6'8" forward showcased some really impressive upside as a quick finisher from the dunker's spot, offensive rebounder, and rim protector. Linderman moves really fluidly for his size. High-upside prospect.

There is obviously no shortage of talent at Fishers High School and therefore there are some really good players who have yet to break through at the varsity level. Mulenga shined on Saturday in spurts for Progeny - UA Rise 16u. The physical, athletic, 6'5" forward has a lot of upside and was highly productive around the basket while also knocking in a catch-and-shoot three-point shot from the top of the key.

Nover put up some excellent individual statistics throughout the weekend at the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. Nover averaged 15.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game

There is a ton of up-and-coming talent right now within the Crown Point High School system and this 6'4" wing is among the most exciting young prospects. Wilson had an excellent weekend in Fort Wayne pouring it in from beyond the arc and showcasing his fluid athleticism in the open floor. He can flat out score the basketball and is really emerging as a high-level prospect in Indiana's Class of 2028.
