Columbus East doesn’t just rely on Lawson as their primary on-ball playmaker — they have another backcourt piece who can step in and make things happen. I got a look at 2027 rising guard Judah Lewis Judah Lewis 5'10" | PG Columbus East | 2027 IN against Whiteland, and despite battling some foul trouble, he still had a handful of moments that really stood out. First, he was excellent shooting off the catch, knocking down multiple perimeter shots — something I honestly didn’t know was in his arsenal. Second, he’s at his best when he’s able to explode downhill and get to the rim, using his strong, stocky frame to finish through contact. Lewis is definitely a guard to watch over the next two years for East.

- Never seemed to be in any uncomfortable siltation with the ball in his hands. Has a good feel for the game. Excited to see him and

The Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam was one of our first opportunities to really evaluate this point guard prospect from Columbus East High School. Lewis, a 5’10” floor general, did a great job of running the show for Indiana Elite Team Indiana 16u while leading them to a good deal of success over the weekend. He is comfortable and under control with the ball in his hands, a threat to get downhill as a creator for himself and others, and an active on-ball defender.
