Tipton isn’t the same team that they are historically in terms of their win-loss record, but they still have some talent on the roster. Auler, a 6’2″ junior guard, is having a strong season for the Blue Devils. He posted his first double-double on Saturday night finishing with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists in Tipton’s 78-55 win over Peru. Auler is averaging 16.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Auler is a versatile guard/wing with some solid size and athleticism in the backcourt. He shoots the ball well from three-point range while also utilizing his size advantage against some opposing guards to score around the basket. The 6’2″ junior at Tipton High School scored 22 points in his first of two games at the Metro Indy Fall League on Sunday showing off that impressive two-way versatility. He was consistently active and disruptive on the defensive end of the floor as well. Look for him to have a breakout junior season for the Blue Devils.

Versatile guard with size and length that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Defensively he has the ability to guard multiple positions with his quickness and active hands. He moves his feet and doesn’t overreach at ball handlers. Offensively he’s an aggressive driver that plays under control. When he gets all the way to the basket he can use his length to finish through contact. Has the ability to break down his man off the dribble and stop and pop in the midrange with soft touch.
2024-2025 Stats: 6.2 points | 3.1 rebounds | 1 assist | 1 steal | 34% FG

A talented rising junior guard at Tipton High School, Auler has had a very strong summer with Legacy Ice Elite 16u. He is coming off of a great weekend at the Prep Hoops Open National Championship averaging 16.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Auler is a fluid athlete with some positional size in the backcourt. He creates off of the bounce for himself, scores it well in the mid-range, and has enough of an athletic pop to finish at the end of his drives. Look for him to step into a larger, go-to role for the Blue Devils as a junior. Definitely a name to keep an eye on over the next couple of years.

this weekend. Production is the main thing for Auler as he is a capable scorer that can put up a lot of points. He is a smart player that seemingly knows all the spots on the floor and can be a guard that you can trust to make a play when he has the ball in his hands. Tipton always has guards lined up every year and Auler seems to be that next guard to lead them the next couple of years.

Auler has had a strong spring for Legacy Ice Elite 16u and that certainly continued into the Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam. The 6’2″ guard from Tipton High School was a consistent scoring threat throughout the weekend with games of 13, 14, and 19 points. He should step into a larger role this coming high school season and in the meantime is a fun player to watch with Legacy Ice Elite .

There is a lot of production to replace at Tipton this coming season with the graduation of Nolan Swan and Jackson Money who combined for 32.3 points per game. However, after getting some valuable varsity experience as a freshman, Auler will look to step into a larger role as a sophomore starting this weekend at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. He appears to be next in the lineage of skilled Tipton guards.

This prospect out of Tipton High School burst onto the scene this summer with Grand Park Premier and continued his strong play into our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. At 6’1″, Auler has some positional size in the backcourt right now which he uses to be an effective finisher at the end of his drives. He is very comfortable playing either on or off of the ball, but at our showcase he impressed with his playmaking skills when running the point.
